The pics speak for themselves - really
I felt the need to write this review straight away. I’m on holiday in Barbados for a family wedding and I left it until the end of the holiday to try this just in case (no pun). I was so scared - I’ve got my iPhone X which cost £1150. The plan was to use it if I saw anything amazing worth taking the risk for then a turtle came and I just went for it. I took a full 2.5min video (snorkelling so not deep) the pictures are incredible as you can see (I’ve no idea why they seem to have a black border round them - they don’t on my phone) the case is now off as it’s a little bulky and my phone works perfectly. I’m stunned and so happy it worked so well. Someone else reviewed that it blocked the camera. It didn’t block mine. Negatives? Yes it’s slightly bulky but so what? I just put my normal case back on. The main negative is getting it off! the instructions say use a coin to take it off. That’s crazy - coins are too big. Use a blunt knife to get a corner off then pull the rest off the case off. Hardly a complaint thought as it shows the sealant is solid. This case has given me the best pictures I’ve ever taken though with a turtle and beautiful fish. I would not have written a review until I’d used it properly. I was worried about salt water. No problem. Truly amazed. As long as it passes the initial water test you are good to go. Really hope this helps as I had huge reservations - for a start I didn’t know if I’d be covered on my insurance should it go wrong. But if you’ve tested it properly go right ahead - you seriously won’t regret it for a second 👍

great product
kept my phone completely dry and allowed me to take some great underwater snorkelling footage.Noticed that sometimes the underwater pressure on the front screen would occasionally allow a switch to time lapse or slo mo when videoing, which was a bit annoying to begin with. Overall well pleased as the case kept my phone dry and meant had instant access to high quality camera footage rather than transferring from go pro.

Does what it say it will...except float
Nice product with quick delivery. I have yet to try it in water with the iPhone in it. The water test was successful with a tissue inside which remained absolutely dry so I don’t envisage any problems. I did put the phone, which has an Apple glass protective screen fitted, in the case and found the screen as responsive to the touch as outside the case, (though they advise the removal of additional protective screens). I’ve checked the weights, displacement and buoyancy of the phone, case and wrist strap float and in theory it will just stay on the surface of fresh water which should be improved in sea water but I haven’t tested that yet.... So much for theory, I've now tested it and I'm afraid I found the Wrist Strap Float just wasn't quite buoyant enough and didn't quite float the case with an iPhone X in it, in fresh water, I didn't try it in the sea

Furious. Waste of money
Water tested the phone as suggested and all was fine. That afternoon I take my iPhone with the case on to swim with turtles on my holiday, however the case seems to let in a lot of water. The touch screen is unresponsive under water (probably because it’s filled with water) it seems that the waterproof case which has a completely ridiculous flap for the charge point (an unnecessary function in my opinion) is unable to withstand any movement or resistance in the water which may be generated by your movement or the waves. With this my phone was damaged with sea water I lost all my holiday pictures and was stuck in Indonesia without any way of communicating someone. I’ve now spent £150 for my phone to be evaluated for repair, a further £50 for a spare phone to be unlocked and the original money on this case. My advice? Don’t bother- get a £5 cheap bag one which actually doesn’t let the water In or invest in a go pro. I certainly will next time. Then the audacity To send me an email full of smiley faces asking me how it’s working?! Take it for a swim love and then try sending me an email from your phone after... there’s your answer.

Does what it says on the tin!
I used this case on a sailing trip. I did not have to part with the phone at all (sad, I know), could take photos while swimming and under water. And best of all, I had the nice feeling that I have a waterproof phone in a waterproof case. Belt and braces sort of thing. The case is not too bulky, opens and shuts with some effort, but then this is not something you would want to do frequently anyway. The lanyard is extremely useful too. I took many photos through the case - it is really hard to tell (I can’t) that there anything between the lens and the view. What else? It is a phone case, it is sturdy, waterproof and correctly advertised in my view. And it costs less than a third of it more expensive competitor.
