Good towels that get the job done.

Purchased for a relative who prefers smaller, light-weight towels. These towels fit the bill. They are softer and more absorbent than hotel towels. Excess "new towel lint" dissipated after 3 washer/dryer runs.

I've been looking for smaller bath towels, which are known as "gym towels", I prefer the smaller towels because they dry quicker after you wash them, and put them in the dryer. But many have been thin and flimsy, like typical gym towels. But these towels are plush..like the standard deluxe high end towels. I like them so much that the wife wants a set as well...her larger bath towels seem a waste because they are so big and bulky. And like I said, they take too long to dry in the dryer.

I read all the complaints about these towels and thought people were just being picky. If they are 100% cotton, how bad could the towels be? Well, thy really are that bad. I washed them and they left a load of lint and little blue shreds in the dryer. I tried using one in the shower and it slicked over my skin like nylon would, leaving it wet and leaving behind another load of those little blue shreds. I don't know what kind of cotton they are made of, but if they truly are made of cotton, it is not the kind I'm familiar with. These towels don't do their job.
