Great charger to start off with then suddenly stopped charging. Other chargers work but this now charges for 5 seconds then stops.An initial communication issue with seller was quickly resolved by outstanding customer service. Would buy from seller again.

This charger cable has been a reliable accessory for my electric vehicle. Its length provides flexibility in parking and charging situations. The charging indicator is clear and informative, making it easy to monitor the charging status. Its waterproof feature and carry bag are great for on-the-go usage. Charging my car has become much more convenient with this cable, especially during long trips.

The media could not be loaded.  After a month of use, it melted the socket nearly causing a fire

This cable has been made to a high standard for use in all weather types. It has an IP65 rating against water ingression and can withstand temperatures from -25c to +50c which for the UK is much more than is required.The cable itself is insulated with a hard wearing outer sleeving which looks as though it can easily withstand foot traffic and even being run over. At each end of the cable are insulated and fully moulded connectors, one being the type 2 for connection to the car or van and the other being a standard UK three pin plug so it can be used at home or whilst out and about visiting friends and relatives.The inline charging controller has an easy to understand LED indicator for showing the charge state of the car and comes with a restart button should it be required due to cutouts. This is listed as a fast charging cable being 1.3X faster than the standard supplied unit and with a rated output of 3.3KW, I haven't really noticed the difference in speed so far as it is used over night however if the car needs to be charged whilst out visiting then this should help to speed things up.Along with the charging cable comes a handy carry case so the cable can be stored tidily in the car or at home. I ordered the six meter cable as it is used in a drive but even this length allows the car to be backed into the drive as normal and the cable still easily reaches to the socket at the front of the car. Should you have to park your car in the road then you might need a longer device which are also avalable in the same listing.Overall, this is a great quality EV charging cable that will withstand pretty much anything thrown at it including the great British weather, lol.Recommended.

Does have a design flaw, unfortunately a common flaw, the heavy 'control' box is very close to the plug, meaning the weight is pulling on the plug, most external/garage plug sockets are not near the floor for safety reasons. The cable length needs a 20/80 split, not 05/95.
