So luxurious
I never leave reviews but I feel this product has definitely earned it. The tallow is so smooth and melts into your face. The cocoa butter smells delicious and i can’t stop smelling it. If mine were to have come in bad condition like the some other reviews, I’d still rate this 5 starts because of how amazing this is. Also I had some irritation on my face and put some on, and within minutes all the redness went down and my skin felt soothed. Also it’s a bigger container considering other skincare products that you get online or in store. Amazing product and will continue buying!!!!

Best out of many!
I have been in search of a great tallow all natural sunscreen and this is it! The consistency is great and even though it goes on white it does rub on very well which is shocking when dealing with a mineral sunscreen. It has a very slight very pleasant smell and that doesn’t change after wearing it like other tallow products I have tried. The ingredients are perfect and all are very healthy and aren’t ruined by any toxic preservatives like the competitors products. The owner said they are working on an option to seal the container so it can’t be opened in transit without the buyer seeing that once received.

Good but inconsistent
I have two different experiences with this product. I’ll start with the good. The face tallow that I received that was whipped was easy to apply and rubbed into the skin without leaving a white hue. It has a very light scent that fades and I think it is a great product overall for day to day usage. The not so great - one of my orders came and the face tallow was more solid, left more of a white residue, and smelt more like sun screen than tallow or the cocoa butter smell that it usually has. This makes it seem like there was a mistake in making the product (or inconsistencies) or I got ripped off by Amazon. I have a picture but not sure how well you can tell the differences.

Fell short in several places for me, but overall good product
First, it will leave a white cast. It is not slight. I am super pale, and it makes me look even paler, even when I rub it in a lot, which I don't want to do. Also, since you don't put it under your eyes, without makeup you may look slightly yellow, or it may enhance dark circles because of the lack of white added there. If you wear makeup over it or if you wear under-eye concealer, this will not be a problem.Second, in weather below 75 degrees, it will be solid like a bar of soap, and you will have to work hard to get any on your fingers and then from your fingers to your face will be even more work. I really don't like the way it pulls on your skin when you apply it. I've always been told to be delicate with the skin on your face, so I don't like that I have to tug on it and rub it in for a while. This seems to be getting better as the weather gets warmer, and the product is now softer and a little easier to apply. Hopefully by summer it will be silky enough to not tug on my skin at all.Smells nice, not really like frosting or cake or chocolate, but maybe cocoa butter? Fades quickly so it's not really worth talking about, unless tallow products used to have a horrible smell and in this case it definitely does not.A helpful side effect of zinc oxide is to calm your skin down, so your skin will probably look better the day after you use it, every time you use it. Unless of course the richness of the tallow makes your skin break out, which unfortunately mine started to do when I wore for consecutive days. But I cannot stress enough how the non-blemished skin was rich and moisturized and lovely.I might want to pop it out of the container and whip it up with a hand mixer, giving it some air, and maybe it will give it the lightness I'm looking for. Will update the review if I ever do.I am currently alternating with a lighter chemical based sunscreen to minimize breakouts, but I would love to stop putting chemicals on my skin altogether. Not sure if I will buy again.

Not worth the trouble
I tried this on my face, neck, and arms. The white cast you get with mineral sunscreens was not terrible, though on darker skin tones it may be too visible. Minimal smell of tallow, which was good. It didn't really absorb, so it was shiny, but it didn't feel uncomfortable to me.The spf is only 20, so it's barely worth wearing, especially since you have the tradeoffs of the greasiness and the whiteness.Because it's all grease and no moisturizer, my skin felt extremely dry when I removed it, so you have to apply a lotion before wearing it.In all, because the spf is so low, it's not worth the trouble.

Sunscreen
I wanted to love this, but it’s too greasy for my face. My makeup does not blend well over it. In my defense i do have combination skin. There is a faint strange smell when putting on. Eventually the smell goes away or I get used to it.

Finally natural sun protection 💓
I love this brand and these products. I apply this to my morning routine and it protects me during the day. It's smells yummy like vanilla and it's buttery smooth when I apply to my face. This product does not leave me with a white face. I highly recommend these products and brand. I will be buying this again.
