Spellbound (1945) - Region Free Blu-ray

I absolutely hated this disc. The picture quality, for bluray, is definitely sub - standard and there is no setting on the disc to turn off the sub-titles, so even if watching the english language version you have subtitles down the bottom. I had to go into my player's settings menu to get rid of them, but even then they kept popping up occasionally throughout the film. It definitely has the appearance of a cheap, rush job and may even be a pirate copy. Definitely give this version of Spellbound a wide berth.

The disc wouldn't play after 40mins. Contacted seller about a replacement, they asked me to send my order number (which I did) and I haven't heard from them since.

A really good Hitchcock movie with a adorable Ingrid Bergman.
