Watch Strap Replacement for Blancpain X Swatch

I love my Blancpain X Swatch watch, but the NATO band was (is) hideous. Really. I'm not a fan. Others might be, but it's just not me. I went on a search for a replacement band and ran across this one. They were very inexpensive and I figured I'd toss them if they didn't work out. Much to my surprise, I've been wearing them for the last month on a daily basis and they are GREAT! The band is very comfortable, it was easy to install, and it's easy to clean as well. The only drawback is that it's slightly not the same color as the watch body. I'm typically OCD about matching shades, but the band is _just enough_ off that it looks like it should be that color. As shocking as it seems (just ask my family) I have no issue with the color difference...it looks like it was made that way. Overally, I'm very happy and if anything happens to this band, I'll buy another.

The Thrifty Fathoms is a cool little watch out of the box, but this strap really changed how it feels and wears. It's not SUPER high quality rubber, but it's fine and very good for the price. The color match is solid and it attaches easily once you figure out the trick (check YouTube!)

Fits perfectly, very easy to install and looks fast better than the cheap junk band that comes with Blancpain Swatch.

After doing a lot searching for replacement straps for my swatch, I found this strap. I was hesitant to purchase because one review mentioned the color being slightly off, but after looking at it, it looks really good. I took photos outside and inside to give you a better idea of the color. The great part about the kit is that you get two little allen wrenches to help you take your old strap off. The added bonus is that the new straps are spring loaded so pushing the little tab on the back of the strap retracts the pin so you can easily place the strap on your watch. If you are someone who likes to swap out straps, this is a good product for you! I don't feel the pins on the spring bar when wearing the watch. I've only been wearing my watch with this new strap for a few days, and will update if need be, but the strap is very comfortable and the clasp is very solid.

My original NATO strap broke, and honestly I never liked it a lot anyhow. It hid the back movement, and was not that comfortable. This strap solves both problems, plus it is nicely matched color-wise. We will see if the color stripe stays nice and solid or wears off over time (it appears painted on) - but right now, I love the strap!
