Easy to fit if you ignore seller instructions.
The tyres on my wheelchair had definitely seen better days and had been bodged with glue more times than I should admit really. Looked around and found these seemed to fit the bill as drect replacements.Prior to buying I had already looked on youTube just on the off chance and surprise surprise, there was a video on there explaining how to fit these exact tyres already on there !! AMAZING !Unfortunately, it only showed the fitting of the tyres and I also needed to know how to remove the wheels. It turns out that you will need 2x 13mm sockets on ratchets to remove the spindle that goes through the wheels themselves, which on my chair were only visible once I removed plastic plug/covers.The video on youTube explains how fitting can be achieved quite well, but you need to bare in mind that it is done in a workshop, on a bench, with a clamp and a specific (available for sale at an extra cost) tyre lever. The vast majority of wheelchair users more than likely won't have access to such facilities, unless they paid someone else. I tried for 45 minutes trying to force the tyre on, using zip ties as instructed, but simply couldn't get it on. Then I thought I'd just try soaking the tyres in boiling water to soften them up, hopefully !WOW ............ 30 seconds after removing the tyres from the boiling water and they were both fitted. No tools, no frustration, just using my hands. Don't get me wrong, they were still tight, but they stretched so much more easilyand, like a say, went on without the need for tools, other than a flat bladed screwdriver just to settle the last inch of bead into place. Reasembled and now my chair has new tyres. Old ones were black, but honestly, does it matter really? 100% recommend trying soaking them for about 10 minutes rather than struggling. It just akes them so much more flexible/stretchy and despite sitting in boiling water for 10 minutes, are fine to hold providing you remove them with a fork/spoon (insert utensil of choice). Once cooled the tyres fit as tightly as I imagine they were from new.

good product
haven't used the tyres yet,but they seem fine, fairly easy to fit onto wheel. the worst part of buying was being duped by Amazon into their 'Prime' scheme and having a near impossible task of cancelling it - Disgusting and pure corparate greed

Not up to spec!
Product ordered were supposed to be 190 x 29 and received tyres measuring 170 x 29. The instructions inside also state they are 170mm!

Initially looked far too small to fit on the wheel ...
Initially looked far too small to fit on the wheel hub. No fitting instructions were included. However, having Googled "How to fit solid tyre" I discovered the technique - you need a bench vice, screwdriver or tyre lever, silicone spray and zip ties (one was supplied for each tyre but it's easier to fit with two or three). Once it's on, it's on!

Replacement Wheelchair Tyres
These tyres are brilliant, need a little effort to get on, but are much better quality than the original tyres. We have 3 wheelchairs at church and this is the second tyre we have purchased, this chair obviously got jealous of one of the other chairs with a brand new tyre, would defiantly buy again.

Company were excellent to deal with very fast delivery
There is not a great deal to say about these tyres as they do what they are ment to do, but the Company were excellent to deal with very fast delivery. I will tell you you will have fun getting these tyres on to the wheel but it can be done, they looked too small when they arrived but they are the proper size.I used plastic cable ties as my wheels had what best can be discribed as very large spokes ie: (holes in the wheels)I placed the tyre in position loosly tied by a cable tie in position so as to hold the tyre to the wheel to stop it jumping off and as I worked the tyre round the rim I put more cable ties on as I went so the tyre would not slide off the opposite side it was hard work but it can be done

Placing a solid Tyre onto a plastic rim
An old Hospital type transit wheelchair of ours required, four new solid tyres, as the existing one's had perished.Amazon had the answer, two solid tyres for the front, and two new back wheels were sent for. They all arrived on time and in mint condition from "Mobility, pit stop .com.The next job was to fit the front ones,as a cyclist I thought no sweat, have you ever tried to fit a child's wet T-SHIRT onto an elephant ?.......After sometime, and the assistance of my better half we did it. The suppliers must have a way to fit them .I can see why the suppliers only sell the back wheels as complete, as the tyres on them are twice as thick. Now we have a good reconditioned wheelchair. Thanks to Amazon and Mobility.
