Nippes Stainless Steel Nail Clipper, 6 Cm

I have ordered multiple brands of clippers in the last few months just to compare them, and there are a lot of nice ones (one ridiculously bad one, which I left a review for) but this one 🥇takes-the-cake🍰 on ✨quality🚀....SO much so, that I am ordering more tomorrow, despite the 7-month manufacturing wait.They work wonderfully and are so compact.This is a real confirmation to me that amazing, genuine, honest products really DO have enemies, because I am seeing others claim disappointment.❓Are the Nippes maker being attacked unfairly? Do other makers feel threatened by their quality? Personally, I have my opinion, I'll leave others to theirs.I am not involved any paid reviews--I am just an older customer who needs things to be at LEAST as functional and long-lasting as they were when I grew up mid-century.We had a family table-too heater that still hasn't died after 40 years of constant running.These clippers feel that way to me. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Too many products have gone downhill, so German-made (and certain other reputable makers) is something I tediously and fastidiously seek out,no matter HOW many up-front-paid promotionsI have to wade through to get to them.I'm laying $100 💵 more on the table for more,and 😁I don't care that it'll take 7 months before arrival.Makers, make true quality, establish trust through honesty, and rrrrepeat customers will come.

Wow. Just wow. The most expensive nail clipper I could find on Amazon and made in Germany. Should be awesome, right?Poor, overcomplicated design with poor execution thrown in. The leaf spring which operates the mechanism is underpowered and poorly integrated with the design. The lever slides up and down to lock the clipper into a flat brick for travel but this is the only cool thing about it. Cuts nails poorly.Total waste of money.UPDATE: I have changed my rating to 4 stars because I received a replacement unit and it was excellent. It looks like the first one just was a lemon. The second (replacement) pair of clippers is really nice, functional and well made. It is still complicated but the blades are very sharp, it functions flawlessley and the whole thing is very compact. Nice.

Like the other reviewer, I liked the flat design and „Made in Germany“ but was highly disappointed that at my first use clipping toe nails, the upper jaw just broke off and also the handle broke, so consider this not a solid option to clip stronger toe nails, maybe ok for thinner (finger) nails but am not at all happy.Not sure that it was a lemon because material just felt a too thin and the mechanism includes too many elements making it complicated and apparently prone to failure. Did not buy on Amazon but the same product.
