Q: What is the ph acidy of sunatra dark roast coffee?

Hi Esther, my name is Ally. I work for Keurig Green Mountain and would be happy to assist you. The acidity in coffee is typically between 5 -6.5. Generally, darker roasts such as Sumatra, contains less acidity. Other factors such as the PH of the water being used to brew can also effect acidity. We hope this information is helpful!

Q: will this pod work in keurig 2.0?

pods work fine in all keurig machines. The problem I have with my Dark Magic pods were that most of the pods were not heat-sealed correctly. So what happen was I had coffee grind in my cup and all over my kitchen counter top. I threw away the rest of my order from Amazon, unsealed commensurable goods are bad news...who knows what else is added in the pods??? Best of luck.

Q: Why are some of the cup tops brown and others green? The description is the same.

The new 2.0 brewers will only use the k-cups with a new style label on top. There's a band around the edge of the label with "kureg brewed logo" and info that brewer reads. If it doesn't have a ring to read it rejects the k-cup and will not brew. There are still some older labeled k-cups on the market, so be careful. You can expect that, as time goes by all the after market k-cup manufacturers will be changing unless they don't want to have access to the 2.0 machine market. Other than the 2.0 labeling discussed the only changes I've seen are cosmetics or style. Hope this helps. P.S. When I bought our 2.0 brewer I had a stock of the older cups. When I contacted Kureg they replaced them all with new at no charge, no questions and free shipping ( they e-mailed me a gift certificate).

Q: What decaffeination process is used?

According to the Green Mountain website: "Keurig Green Mountain roasting partners use different processes to decaffeinate their coffee and tea. The processes are: Direct Process, Indirect Process (Indirect & Direct use solvents such as: methylene chloride or ethyl acetate) and Swiss Water Process." ... "Unfortunately, we are not able to disclose the decaffeination methods used for our coffee as this is considered proprietary information by Keurig Green Mountain.
