Some plants can be put left in the mulch like tray when rransplanting seedings to bigger pots or .
I started garden pack seeds inside using potting soil in these economical trays . 500 seeds in a dozen trays fits under a shoplight . I have started moving some to bigger pots . Roots can grow right through the tray when wet . Let damage to delicate roots by leaving the small plants in tray sections and transplanting the whole tray section

Good for Small Starters
These would be great for small starters, as they are only about 1 1/2 inch wide. I actually needed something larger and had to return these for larger size peet.

Great seedling starters
These are great seedling starters. They are just as expected and include plant labels and seed planters. This is the second time I have ordered these and they have arrived quickly and efficiently packaged.I removed one star because they are so tightly packed together that it’s difficult to pull them apart. Not sure if a little tissue between them would help.Overall great product and great company.

No drainage
If I could give 0 stars I would. once you water your seeds/plats, its over. Molds very fast, retains water and promotes root rot.

Sturdy
They held up well with many waterings

There are no drain holes
Product appears as shown, but you'll likely be surprised by just how tiny the cells are when you see them in person. The big problem is that there are no drain holes despite it being listed multiple times as a "special feature." This impacts drainage if watering from above, wicking if watering from below, and allowing a small taproot to form out the bottom as I transfer it into the garden bed. I will create my own drain holes with a punch, but this was a key reason I purchased the product.

TINY
These pots are TINY. Yes, the dimensions are clearly listed in the posting, but I guess I didn't think about the size of the peat pots I usually buy to start seeds. I'm not sure what seeds these could be used for as the seedling will quickly outgrow this pot and need to be transplanted - something precarious when seedlings are young. I might just cut my losses, cut these up and use them for weed suppression/compost in the garden.
