One of my worst experiences on Amazon
Do not buy it. First, you'd have to pay for shipping. Don't waste your money, here's why:Terrible build quality. I opened it and haven't even plugged in yet. I experienced difficulty even inserting my SD card into this. After I managed to do it - it was nearly impossible to get my SD card out. That's literally all I did - was insert the SD card - and already during inserting it - I already regretted buying it because I realized just how poor the quality was. The size of the slots barely fit SD cards. The slots are too tight. It was so tight it scratched my SD card and I almost broke my SD card when I was trying to simply get it out to re-pack the item back into the box and ship it back. I want my money back, including money for shipping that I paid when the item was shipped to me and money to ship it back. The description didn't describe this item correctly, it didn't say it would be a very tight fit and that the quality of the product is poor. It literally would have been a hazard to my SD cards, and I have important files on them.

Four Stars
Works for me.

Nope.
I'm usually a happy five star kind of guy, but If I could give this thing zero stars, I totally would. It doesn't do the only thing it was created to do.Slots are super tight on the cards. Power to the hub is intermittent at best. It randomly stops working and ejects cards. I tried it plugged directly into a MacBook Pro, a Thunderbolt Display, and into both USB 2.0 and 3.0 hubs. It didn't work right on any of them. Occasionally it would load one or two cards, though any time I would get a few seconds into file transfers, it would eject the cards. Slot 2 stopped working entirely after just a few attempted uses. I've never had an SD card damaged by a reader in the past- this thing corrupted 3 out of the 4 cards I stuck in it.A beautiful morning walk to the dumpster was the only beneficial thing that came from this glossy piece of trash.
