Laser-cut bracketry lowers the factory upper and lower control arms, in relation to the frame, to provide front lift. A 5" to 7" front lift range is afforded by the adjustable factory torsion bars; rear lift is via 5" blocks. Full-width tubular crossmembers attach to the front/upper and rear/lower control arm relocation brackets to further enhance system rigidity. These tubular crossmembers also support the front differential, which is relocated to alleviate CV axle and driveshaft angles. Kicker braces span from the rear tubular crossmember to the vehicle's frame. A Superlift front skidplate bolts to the front frame crossmember then connects to the factory differential skidplate. Steering linkage geometry is addressed by a replacement "dropped" centerlink that keeps the tie rods in phase with the lower control arms. Dual stabilizing links prevent fore and aft movement of the centerlink, otherwise, excessive stress loads would be transmitted to the factory pitman and idler arms. The torsion bar crossmember is lowered to align it with the lower control arms. The system includes your choice of Superide or Superide SS shocks by Bilstein. An optional steering stabilizer kit is also available. NOTE: Superlift's replacement front CV style driveshaft, part number 3287, is required for 1996-98 year models equipped with Autotrac.
