This is a good, lightweight and easy to use ash vacuum
I got this to replace my old Coopers ash vacuum and I have found this very easy to use. It is compact, lightweight and easy to clean. Plus the added bonus of a tapered ended nozzle is great. I have a multi fuel burner and I have found this much easier to use when cleaning it out. There is no longer the hassle of having a lead and plug that drags and falls as you carry it anymore. The hose is shorter than my old ash vacuum but I have found that better. This unit is cleaner and I can store this out of the way under the stairs , unlike my old heavier one which had to be kept in the utility room and was in the way. I know this is common sense but when cleaning the filter (which I do after every use) do this outside and not when its drizzling or raining. The thin film of dust on the inside filter bag will come off with the slightest movement. I use a cheap 38mm paint brush to clean off the filter bag. If its raining or drizzling I wait until it stops then clean it as otherwise the dust will get damp and make a mess. I say this as some other reviewers seem not to have figured that out. Charging it up is fine and I do this after a couple of times of using it because it doesn't take me the full run time to clean the burner. For me this is a great buy and would recommend it to anyone.

It does the job, no dust at all very pleased with it glad we purchased it. Size is perfect, suction is good. It's good value for money.

Make life a little easier
Well packaged, value for money, Suction ., could use a bit more , fine on ash but clogs up a little if your wood hasn’t burned down fine enough So check before using. Easy to clean , does the job and makes life easier.

Effective ash cleaner
Lightweight with good suction. Clears all ash and small clinker.

Started off well
Used this for a few DIY projects, started out really well, sucked like an elephant on crack, but that was it it didn’t go to well after that. Easy to clean and the power started out well. I wouldn’t say it’s great value for money.
