All I need
Like anything else, this charger has a life-span. But i have found nothing to compete with it, have used it for some three years now and am very pleased.

Works great with one little hitch...
I hate wires. I love wireless. I love wireless networking, mouses and keyboard. I love the idea of wireless, inductive charging. I just don't love the way Mobee's batteries do it. I love everything else about Mobee's gear but, the batteries can make you crazy. Standard alkaline batteries supply about 1.5 volts. NiMH supply 1.2. Multiply by 2 and you get a standard of 3v vs 2.4 -- about 80% of Alkaline. The advantage is that NiMH charges well its nominal voltage doesn't drop as fast at a Alkaline batteries. What does this mean? It means if you want to use Mobees chargers and battery packs, you need to get used to the idea that you mouse will start out with about an 80% charge and will fall, over time, to less than %36. However, it will take longer to do so which is where you get the payoff: fewer battery changes, more long-term use. I didn't really understand this and I had thought that my battery pack was dying. It wasn't. But, I did end up with two more battery packs and now I have two mouses (yes, that is the proper term) using the one charger. I do a lot of travel, so I charge my 'work mouse' up on the weekend and then go on the road with it and the charge lasts easily all week. I come home and start all over again.I will buy more of these but you got to get used to seeing the charge at less than 80%. At the end of the night, I put the mouse on the charger and go to bed. I get up and use it all the next day with no problem. So, ignore the % remaining and mouse away.Oh, and I'm still using the original pack with no issues and I've got a brand new one sitting in a box waiting for something to die.

Great idea but few problems
I want to love this but i don't due to few issues with charging. i have two battery packs and one charger but one of the batteries would not charge above 68% no matter what i do. my biggest concern though is the battery life - i think with regular batteries i get maybe a month or two but with these i barely get few days without charging - battery drains really fast and sometimes without even using a mice you come back a week later and it's dead. Also fitting these packs in mice is very tricky at times - they don't PERFECTLY fit apple mice so some pressure and taking pack out and slamming it back in, try to charge and if no luck then repeat again is pretty much how you install it :( good idea but poor implementation.

worked for two days, then stopped
First, I bought the original wireless mouse that came with the battery pack. It worked great for a little over a year. I thought a replacement would be simple. The item arrived and I placed it within the original mobee wireless mouse. It worked for two days, and simply stopped working. I still dont know why, it showed that it was charging but because it worked upon receipt, i had tossed the box and receipt, thinking it was a "keeper". Thats unfortunate because now its a $15 paper weight and im using rechargable bateries, in stead.

Useless
The Magic Charger for Keyboards and the Trackpad is awesome. But the Magic Charger for the mouse is awful. At first I thought it was my mouse so I bought another one but it didn't change things: my mouse would connect and disconnect from Bluetooth constantly. It was so annoying!

Good to have an extra battery
Came quickly as advertised and worked as I expected. Good to have an extra battery.

Not the Greatest Buy - MOBEE Made it Better, Though
I bought two of these, one to replace my existing Mobee battery pack that had died after about 14 months of use and the other to convert the Magic Mouse I use with my laptop. I popped in the first battery, charged it all day, then started using it the next day. It lasted about 4 hours before it quit working - no charge left at all. I charged it again, used it about 5 hours, no charge left. So I took the 2nd battery to try it, and almost exactly the same thing happened. If I turned the power off and put it back on the charging pad every time I was leaving my computer for 30 minutes or more, I could nurse about 11 1/2 hours out of it. I got an RMA and returned both of them for a refund.I then went to the Mobee website to buy two from the manufacturer. Went through the same process, and I'm still only getting about 12-14 hours out of the battery packs before they need charging again. Nothing like the original battery pack that would go 4 or 5 days without recharging, depending on use.So I'm not very high on Mobee products right now, if something has happened to the ability of their battery packs to hold a charge for longer. Right now, my rechargeable Apple-brand batteries in the mouse and with an Apple recharger, will run for 7-10 days before it needs a swap-out of the batteries. If the Mobee pack can't last as long as the regular batteries, I'm not sure I see the point in owning the Mobee.UPDATE: 2/20/14: I bought two more of these batteries direct from Mobee. I had the exact same problems with these two as with the ones from Amazon. They would not even last 8 hours. I reached Mobee tech support and they had me send them pictures of the batteries, which I did. They asked me to swap out batteries and charging pads with another magic mouse I happened to have, and neither combination worked any better. After advising them of this after about a two-week trial, they over-nighted me two new batteries and told me to get rid of the other two. The two new ones have been working fine. I've been getting days worth of service out of them, although I'm careful to turn them off and put them back on the charging pad at night so they're recharged the next day.I was very happy with Mobee's direct technical support and customer service. They took good care of me. I'm still reluctant to buy any more of their products, though, as I really question the reliability I'll get with them.UPDATE #2: 5/14/14: So, the two new battery packs and charger pads from MOBEE have made a world of difference. These two packs will last four or more days running 24 hours a day. If I remember to turn them off overnight, they will easily last a week. This is much more like I remember from my original set of MOBEE battery packs. I am quite happy now, both with the newest battery packs and with MOBEE's customer service. It seems like they might have a little quality assurance problem, though, on their production line. But customer service was very helpful, as was Amazon Customer Service, so it wound up working out alright - after a little hassle and waiting time, along with some extra postage. In the end, though, as long as it all works out fair!

Very much a necessity!
I have had my Apple rechargeable wireless mouse for 3 years and when I figured out it was using a set of batteries about every week or so I got the Mobee Techno Battery Pack for Magic Charger and voila...instant success. I had the first battery pack for about 2 1/2 years and just replaced it with this new one hopefully for another couple of years. Absolutely worth every penny!
