Very Highly Recommended.
My Mom was rolling out of bed. I bought these rails for her and just installed them a few days ago. My Dad and I installed it together with nothing other than our drill. We had it together in less than five minutes. What I was worried about was how it would look. The reason being is my Mom is only 66 years old and I did not want to put these on her bed, like she was some old person. I want her room not to look like a hospital room or nursing home room. However, after installing them, they don't look like that at all. They actually look great. They not only will keep her off the floor, she can use them to either get up in the bed or sit down in the bed. If she doesn't want to use them, she can just click the red button and put them down. They also are easy to slide over in and out of bed. These things are visually pleasing to look at, very functionable, easy to install, and a great price as well.

Gave us peace!
These bed rails have been a life saver for my handicap husband, and as for me, I'm not afraid that he'll fall at night anymore. I can also get some rest! They are sturdy and strong and well made. I recommend them highly.

Latch mechanism requires lots of hand strenght to operate. Not elderly friendly
Then hand rails are sturdy enough to function as designed but do have some giv . Handrails are designed for easy assembly and install under a matterss. I chose to modify my set and bolt them to the metal bed frame. The rails latch firmly into position but require a bit of hand strenght to unlatch. A child or elderly individual will find it impossible to unlatch so these are not elderly friendly. I was able to tape a small washer on top of the latch hole to prevent the latch from fully locking. This modification allowed my elderly mother to operate the rail without further assistance.

Works as intended
Seems decent. East to assemble. Seems sturdy enough for my needs. Collapses down if needed. I would reccommed.

Safe and Sturdy Bedrail
Ordered this bedrail to keep our little 97 yr old precious one from getting up without help and /or falling out of bed. Chose this one because of its Hospital like design. Very little assembly and worked just as we hoped. One note is that to be stable and not pull out from under mattress, you will need to buy a piece of wood to attach to slide under mattress. We just used a piece of door trim we had and it worked perfectly. Very sturdy and safe for use with the elderly. I recommend this rail.

Reasonable price - Medium Quality
Prior to assembly I noticed that 2 of the pre-drilled holes in the square tube were scuffed and indented - clearly these were used parts. When I assembled the rail using 2 of the unused holes, the square tube deformed like the other holes had previously done. I used heavy duty flat washers to help mitigate the weakened condition of the square tubes. The gage of metal used for the square tubes is too light to support a rigid assembly. The assembly instructions were difficult for me to understand - largely because of broken English writing. On the plus side, for my purposes, the safety rail does it's job. The price was reasonable. The delivery was made well ahead of schedule. The fact that Mybow Health made this style of bedrail available is worth positive mention - I could not find this product anywhere else. Believing that you usually get what you pay for, I would recommend this product and Mybow Health to others.

best configuration for someone in a wheelchair
An elderly relative has been falling out of bed, so I looked for rails. There are versions that fold down along the bed axis - which won't work because the user's wheelchair is there. There are telescoping options - that give a max of 10" of additional protection (pretty useless) AND which use those spring loaded balls which are often SO hard to use. NOT going to work for someone sleepy in the middle of the night. I was so pleased to find these. They fold parallel to the bed axis so won't interfere with the wheelchair. Their folded height is much lower than the mattress height, so won't get in the way of getting in and out of bed, and that big trigger handle is SOOO much easier for them to use. I am very pleased. They just came today and they seem like they are quite sturdy. I have boards ready to extend the included brackets so they reach even further under the mattress. The brackets have holes pre-drillled, so if your use case has something to drill into, those wouldn't be needed. Update: the brackets are a little thin for a heavy individual - truly rolling onto them could result in them bending instead of blocking. But the bottom frame is 1" square steel tube that comes predrilled with extra bolt holes on both ends. Should the brackets be problematic, I plan to simply bolt sturdy boards directly to the frame. To the manufacturer...even small triangle at the main bend points instead of mere bends would go a long way to increased stability! (makes me wish I could weld)

no good
It wasnt good for my bed, because it didnt fit. It was made for a regular bed and not a hospital bed and I have a hospital bed thats made of metal not wood.

Very good product. Well made. Does as it was expected. I was able to install on my adjustable bed. It was all about placement. I have a solid wood foundation for my adjustable bed. That is the reason I could adapt it. Value for your dollars. It could be better priced. But it’s well made. Solid metal. Easy to use, extremely well designed, and safety latch is excellent.

Bought this for my mom. Works great easy to assemble. Follow the instructions it must be mounted to a pc of plywood or it will slide out. Screws for the plywood are included.

I found this product to be easy to install and that it works well. I simply slid the support rails between the mattress and boxspring. I do have two comments. The first is the "bend" in the support rails will make a difference of about inches in height. This is considerable. Perhaps this could be made less? If the rail is installed so that it is higher, there is nothing to stop the support rail from moving as it is when installed the other way. My second comment is that using only one "nut" does not prevent it from becoming loose. This could be dangerous. A spring loaded washer, a second nut, or some product like loctite would be safer. I also realized that if the supports are just between the mattress and boxspring, I would have to ensure that the guard rail can not be accidentally pushed out. So I used venetian blind cord from the bottom rail under the mattress to a 1/4 plywood disk. This did the job, allowing sheets to be changed as well as preventing the movement of the guard rail.
