Sometimes startling reminders of the details of the Degree work and the ritual. These are the kind of questions that a WM might use to quiz an unknown person purporting to be a Mason. Some American Masonic groups (such as the Prince Hall Affiliated/ PHA) also use questions such as these to challenge people on the street who might casually sport Masonic regalia without actually being Freemasons nor understanding what the symbols of the Fraternity really mean. Good way to sharpen your Masonic knowledge.
