Easier to use than working with parchment paper in my dutch oven.

These bread slings were a bit thinner than I was expecting, but other than that, I think they are great. This is a nice reusable way to line your pan when making bread, and you don’t have to worry about them tearing, like parchment paper can. I did not have any issues when baking with them. The included utensils are nice quality and really handy. I am pleased with this set and would recommend it.

These are like many others and great to have for Dutch Oven Bread Baking. They work just fine but the handles could be longer. They are long enough to protrude above the pot but you don't have a lot of extra. Your hands have to get very close to the hot pot to grab the handles. This becomes more of an issue when wearing bulky oven mitts. A longer handle to grab would be most welcome. Pics show how it fits in my Lodge Dutch Oven. The silicone tools are nothing to get excited about. I do like that they are shorter and smaller than normal kitchen utensils. I will certainly use the spatula for mixing sourdough starter. The others may never be used. The whisk is useless since water accumulates in the handle and is difficult to drain.After using the sling twice to bake Dutch Oven bread, I'm deduction a star. Both times I had difficulty preventing the handles from folding down onto the dough when placing it in the pot. It's a dangerous struggle to try lifting the handles out of the hot pot while placing the lid on.

I've been using parchment paper in my dutch oven when I make sourdough, but if you make bread a lot, you just have to keep buying more paper. I like that these silicone slings are reusable. When they first arrived, they looked really tiny. But They are actually just the right size. They even include measurement markings on them.I plopped my dough out of the proofing basket and lowered it right into the dutch oven. Easy to remove after baking as well. Quick and easy to give it a little swipe with the sponge to clean.I'm not sure what I need to do with these miniature utensils, but I guess if your kitchen isn't already fully stocked, they could come in handy. They're nice looking, but small!

I make bread in a dutch oven on a regular basis. One of the challenges was to get the bread out of the dutch oven when it's hot without "messing" it up. The sling makes the day, it's super easy to get the bread out when it's hot.One things to note is the sling is rated up to 450F. I used it with 475F and it worked fine. hopefully this won't affect the longevity of the product.

I love the utensils that came with this set. The brush, whisk, and two types of spatulas are sturdy and will come in handy. The round size of the bottom of the mat is perfect for my cast iron skillet, cake pans, and 6 quart Dutch oven. The issue is that the handles don’t go over the steep sides of my Dutch oven. They barely reach the top. So make sure you compare your equipment’s measurements with the product’s before you purchase. You can cut it smaller but not make it larger. I’m still looking forward to cooking bread in my skillet with this mat.

I have a chip in the enamel in my dutch oven and so I decided to get this to not only protect my food, but also to make releasing my bread easier. This fits my dutch oven perfectly and it is almost sticky so it stays in place perfectly. I like the silicone tools that came with the set as well. Both of the slings are the same size. Perfect for regular and sourdough.

The utensils are comically undersized.. idk why, but I was expecting full sized utensils. These could bendound in a children's kitchen play set... The Silpat bread lifters feel like they're of high quality. I won't get the chance to use them for another couple of weeks, but when I do I'll make an update to this review.For now, I'm happy.
