Didn't know I needed this.
I've been struggling with deadheading my underplanted roses for years, no, decades LOL! So when I read about this product at Fred-in-the-shed I was intrigued.Unfortunately it's admittedly a niche product and the single review on here did not give any further helpful details about it. However, I was convinced it was something I needed. Although a luxury item at £40.65 from Bescol I gave it a shot (I had just saved myself a few hundred by repairing my own car). The item was surprisingly delivered only 48 hours later, nicely packaged and is a quality item. It is very effective and useful for my needs and is made of lightweight but high grade materials that make it worth the money.I ordered the 1.5m version as I measured my reach and found it is the most useful size for my garden. Cutting and bringing the deadheads to the bucket is easy as the tool grips what has just been cut.I no longer need to trample plants nor scratch myself on thorns. I have also made a hanger in my shed so that it does not get damaged in storage as I expect to be using this handy tool for the rest of my life.

I Love It and highly recommend
I purchased it about 12 months ago and I couldn't be more pleased. Hence why I'm putting this review on Amazon. I have been searching for something like this to prune the Archway and the Wisteria without balancing from ladders risking injury. It is very light is for sure a one handed operation and easy to use.I have not used it on really thick stems just new sappy growth the cutter is small and I don't think it could handle thicher stems (branches). What I like is the fact it holds the trimmed part so you can drop in a convenient place. You wont be sorry you purchased this foliage clipper I would Highly recommend! I am very pleased with it don't miss out on a great addition to your gardening tools.

Great Item
I needed something to prune back my neighbors Ivy that was growing over his fence and up the back of my garage. There is only a gap of about 6 inches behind the garage, too small for anyone to squeeze into, so I thought this tool would be ideal plus it would be useful for other hard to reach jobs too. I'm pleased to say it's perfect, light and easy to manage and does what it says on the tin. I'm delighted with it.

An excellent tool especially for the less agile who are not happy using ladders.I would find a 2.0metre Snapper even more usefulThe Cut-n-Hold facility is extremely useful.

Totally Amazing. I have been searching for something like this to prune our Wisteria without balancing from ladders risking impalement from iron railings. Works well with in conjunction with the larger 3.2m+ one. This smaller one is for sure a one handed operation and easy to use. As an extra bonus is the fact it holds the trimmed part so you can drop in a convenient place. Using this one and the larger one together, the entire operation has become faster, safer and much more manageable. Highly recommend!

Ambidextrous! Special interest for left handed folk.
Brilliant! Ideal for left handed and right handed. Mechanism will swivel according to your needs. Has 3 "beak" openings, and a fully closed lock (child resistant).Light weight. Every gardener should have one!

Cut-N-Hold just as advertised.
Does what it said on the box. Well made, light weight and very useful for those inaccessible dead heading jobs. It was a long weight from despatch to delivery however it did come within the allotted time frame so cannot moan really.

A cut above the rest!
A very useful tool that every gardener should have, reaching places that would otherwise require the use of a step ladder.
