Long story short, I bought the Mueller kit (ASIN: B002WFC9KA) before this one..here are the differences...This kit is great, the bags are insulated, so there won't be any condensation or leaks, which is the case with some comparable pieces being sold here on Amazon. The strap is great for smaller areas, such as the knees and specially the elbows. Strapping the ice bag is easy, and it will stay in place throughout, until the ice starts to melt of course. I found this kit easier to use on my own, as opposed to Mueller, which can be difficult, depending on where you applying ice.At this price, you can't beat this kit, but keep in mind that the strap, even with the extension, will not be as comfortable to use as the Mueller kit on bigger areas.Mueller quality stands out, from the strap to the ice bags, they make a high quality product. The only problem with Mueller, which is not really a problem, but more a convenience or inconvenience (depending how you look at it), is the size of the strap, which is great for bigger target areas, such as the back, shoulder and even the knees, but if you are mostly focused on applying it to your elbows, then the Mueller might be a bit difficult to keep in place, it will eventually stay, but after some adjustments, I should warn you that it can be a bit frustrating if you are trying to strap it on your own.I kept both kits, because they will serve different body areas.

We have used these hot and cold. It is leak proof and very comfortable with the strap. Having old sports and war injuries, these packs are great on the days when our body isn't so great. They came quick and in a convent storage bag.

Enjoying the ability to use got and cold water to help me with my broken leg. The small one is very small but good for isolating areas

This product is outstanding. Love the way I can fill with Ice or even warm water. Good quality material.The only down fall is the velcro strap could be made longer to be able to have more stronger support to hold in place.

I get knee bursitis flare-ups every few months and these cold packs really numb the pain quickly and stay in-place if you just sit quietly like you are supposed to. Way more effective than over the counter pain medications. I had tried some cold gel packs and they were worthless as they warmed up within about 5 minutes. These stay cold for about an hour and I guess you can drink the ice-cold water when the time comes if you really like to recycle!

Ice bags stay really cold for a long time. I have been using daily for a few months and they are starting to come apart. Moisture is dripping through the skin of the bag and the elastic has stretched where it states to the bag so that should put easily now.For occasional this should be fine.

Great quality! They are thick so you apply directly to skin without needing a towel which is convenient. It is pretty heavy though, so it kind of hurts putting it on my knee (torn ACL) because of the weight

What a saving grace as I have a huge hematoma that is on the inside and back of my ankle from being hit by a car on my bike. My hip was suffering from twisting to lay it on ice three times a day ... this solved the problem and has become my favorite. Large is perfect and covers the full side and back of ankle for relief. Strongly recommend to have in your first aid kit at home. Have a feeling my dancer daughter will get great use as season starts back up.
