Very accurate heart monitor
Very accurate as a heart monitor, which is what I bought it for. I had bought a fitbit right before, and it was worthless as a heart rate monitor, during exercise it would show a heartbeat rate of 77 or something while my oxymeter would show 130, as would my gym bikes. I wouldn't trust on the gym bikes, but the oxymeter is a different story. Never mind that it would be impossible for me as an out of shape guy to have such a low hbr during a workout. This one is on the money with the oxymeter, and to my surprise the gym bikes. Plus it has a bigger icon than the fitbit and it stays on the mode I want it to stay on.The chest strap I assume is a better way than the wrap around the wrist. Of course I returned the fitbit after 4 days.

Pros -- Numbers are large and easy to see.Cons -- I wanted to like this Heart Rate Monitor --- BUT ---1- The High Rate Alarm is SO FAINT, it can be heard only if the watch is pressed against your ear.2- Has 4 buttons that all do multiple things and ARE NOT User Friendly.3- Buttons are so-so. Sometimes they work, and sometimes you need to wiggle them to hit the "sweet spot".4- In Set Up mode (entered while on the correct mode, ie Time, then pushing and holding the Light button), the numbers are big, but the prompts are tiny/worthless.5- Set up isn't easy and hitting the wrong button (which always seems to be in the way) kicks you out.6- The strap for the watch is stiff and ackward.7- Who ever designed the chest strap NEVER TRIED TO PUT ONE ON. The "latch" is VERY HARD to connect. Maybe you are suppose to connect it then slide the chest strap down over your head.8- I'm not a skinny minny, but I'm not huge either. If you are over a 42 inch chest, the strap won't fit.9- Does not Auto Start displaying Heart rate when Chest Strap is worn. You have to select that "mode".10- A Heart Rate Monitor should do one thing and do it well, namely report Heart Rate. It DOES NOT need ---a- an Alarm feature to wake you up (though given the faint chime you wouldn't hear it unless you taped the watch to your ear at night).b- a stop watch

Works Great! Simple To Use! Not complicated! Big Font!
I love this little HRM. It does what you want and doesn't do a ton of useless things that most often don't work anyway on many more expensive types of HRMs. And the numbers are BIG so you can read it while you are working out. Really great!

Great as a basic heart rate monitor for running.
I needed a basic heart rate minitor. Once I put on the chest strap, and sync (put watch against sensor), it picks up the heart rate right away. No need to wet the sensor. The sensor and watch work just fine in the rain or when I sweated heavily on it. I have seen complaints about the loudness of the “beep”. I thought it was just fine when running (I don’t wear headphones though). I’ve used it for about 60 miles so far. You can only program one low and one high alarm setting, so if you plan to use it to force you to stay in a specific range, that may be a limitatiom because you’ll have to set it before each workout.. I just look at it from time to time and I know the numbers I am trying to hit.

It’s doing fine so far.
This is my third Ezon watch, for what it’s worth. On one the strap broke and I sent it back, On two I tried to change the battery myself (you really need a jeweler!) lost the screws, taped it together and lost all the functions, but they all, amazingly, came back after I took a shower, and worked for months before it finally died.I basically wanted a HR monitor for exercise, but I’ve got addicted to having a watch, and particularly the day and date function. Stopwatch is a plus and Alarm if I need to use it. I’m not sure how accurate the HR function is (with the chest-strap the readout is continuous I can remove the watch for better visibility) but readings compare well so far with my BP meter. The price is certainly favorable. Delivery was overnight!

The one I got didn't work
I'd give this zero stars if I could. Took the watch out of the box, no display, no matter which buttons I pushed. Tried replacing the battery. That took about 45 minutes because the screws were overtightened (which is ironic since the battery replacement instructions specifically state "do not overtighten", lol). Replaced the battery. Still nothing. Thought maybe I put the watch mechanism backward (it can slide in in two orientations), so opened the watch again, flipped the orientation. Nope, still didn't work. In short this was a waste of time and money for me, alas, and I will have to look for another model to purchase.

Exactly what I was looking for
This is a simple yet very effective real-time heart rate monitor that continuously updates your heart rate every second or less (not sure of the interval). Polar used to make one twenty years ago which I had but lost. This is basically the same thing. I don't need the also monitoring, GPS tracking, and app interface of the new Fitbit variety. I just need a simple device to tell me at the moment what is my heart rate so that I can keep it in a zone during workouts, particularly not go too high. You can even set alarms for the low and high of your heart rate range to let you know when you approaching those boundaries. Instructions are pretty easy to follow. Great price! I expect the durability to be fine, but I'll be back to update my review if it does not last (just opened box and tried for first time).

Wrist strap broke
The heart rate monitor works great, but the wrist strap broke after few uses. I tried to fix it by using superglue. It got worse. Not a good quality.
