Great and fast disc.
Fast and big storage. This is my 3rd WD disc and definitely wont be the last. Price is good, performance top notch and so far oldest disc (about 5 years old) is still running perfectly. New one is flatter, which is a plus when you need to travel with it. Easy to use, just plug it in and laptop finds it straight away.

Neat little unit.
A neat little unit which I bought hoping that the included backup software will be faster than Kaspersky which I am currently using. Looks good so far as it allows a selection of different types of backup; Full, incremental etc and a lot of options that I would never have thought of. I'm hoping that this part remains free to use as the advanced offering which I don't need is $40/year. The lead could do with being longer too. All external HDDs seem to be supplied with a 50cm lead; Too short to be of any use to me.

Great value but not USB-C
Misleading title basically means that they pack it with a USB-C adapter but the port on the product is the same old Micro USB + Power that all these products have had for10+ years now.Otherwise I trust WD more than any other driver manufacturer and the price for 5TB is a bargain.

Issues
I purchased this 6tb unit to back up all of data including files and photos. It took over 24 hours to upload all of the 3.5 Tb. Afterwards I tried viewing the data on the same iMac and my MacBook Pro. Neither machines would read the data. I contacted Western Digital. After checking with me and what I could see they could not help apart from suggesting that I remove all the data and reformat again and then reload. I did as instructed and this time added just 200gb as a test, but unfortunately the issue did not resolve itself and the two units would not read the drive again. Amazon were great and agreed to refund fully.

Great as usual
Incredible fast read-write rates, it has a small, thin profile making it really portable. Working perfect without any issues

Huge 6TB capacity
Used this HDD to back up several years of Video Camera recordings. Very pleased so far.It came pre-formatted in ExFAT, but I reformatted to NTFS before use, as I believe that to have better security.

This isn't the My Passport Ultra!
When I ordered this item, I knew of two versions of WD My Passport drives - the plain My Passport, and the newer My Passport Ultra. I wanted to get the latter, and by selecting the configuration that says "HDD Ultra with Auto Backup Software" I thought I'd get it. Not so - what's turned up is neither the My Passport, nor the My Passport Ultra, but a third version - "My Passport, works with USB C". Unlike a genuine Ultra this doesn't have a USB C socket on it, but an older "Super speed Micro-B" socket, along with a cable that connects this to USB A, and a USB-A to USB-C adapter. It also isn't as fast as the My Passport Ultra (according to a review that I've read).I fully admit that the Amazon page heading describes the drive as "My Passport Works with USB-C", and that's what my order shows too. However, I do feel that the "HDD Ultra with Auto Backup Software" option does rather strongly suggest that the drive I was ordering would be an Ultra.Despite feeling rather cheated, I'm keeping and using the drive which seems to work perfectly well. It is significantly cheaper than a 6 TB My Passport Ultra and it isn't that much slower. I'm posting this in case getting a genuine Ultra is important to anyone. If it is, look elsewhere!
