the 3/8" NPT male thread didn't properly fit into the female inlet of the propane tank
I wasn't able to return it because of hazardous material. The issue was with the 3/8" NPT male thread that didn't properly fit into the female inlet of the propane tank.

Works for me.
Update: still no leaks, my pup has tried to chew on it and he dint get through it. Definitely recommend! So far the gas hose is doing great. I just got it hooked up to my wall heater in my camper, got it hooked up to a 250 gallon propane tank outside. Works well, no leaks. It is stiffer than I expected. I will come back in a month to provide an update.

The addition fittings came to be usefull when connecting to the shout off valve, 1/2 to 3/8.
