Strange that something as simple as a clothes hamper can affect your whole day. I had a collapsable wire-spiral supported hamper before this one. The wire had come undone at the top and would stab me and tear up my clothes if I wasn't careful, but it still stood, so I kept using it for way too long. I had no idea the stress that stupid hamper was causing me until I got this DAZZ soft hamper... The polyethylene foam padding give the hamper enough rigidity to stand when empty, but is also thin enough to be easily folded and stored if it's not needed. The handles are comfortable even when the hamper is full and after several months of use, I see no signs of fraying or damage. The strap is very useful for hauling to the laundry room or laundromat. A tip: fold the handles down over the outside of the hamper to get them out of the way of basketball-style clothing shots from across the room. You won't be dissappointed in this hamper.

The material is not as thick as I was expecting and the bag produces A LOT of static.

I bought this hamper for my teenage son 4 years ago and it has served it's purpose well. As we are now doing dorm shopping, I asked him if he needed a new hamper and he said the one he has will work great. I took a look at it, and other than a very small tear in the seam of one handle, it looks like new. It stands up well, even empty (although the handles collapse). It is convenient and holds a full load of laundry well. High quality for low cost.

There is no ribbing or stiffness in the sides to hold this up and it does need working to get it to stay upright and open if empty - picture is a bit deceiving that way. I will say that the material is very thick, it is well sewn, and is durable.

I bought two of these hoping to use one for whites and other for darks and ease carrying of laundry up and down multiple flights of stairs. I find them useful but was sorry they actually do not reverse effectively. The strap is attached to the blue side out and so won't work as carrier with white side out. The velcro handles do handily clip to towel rack so hampers stay off damp floor. Construction seems strong enough, standard nylon woven skin. They are stuffed/lined with open cell foam that seems to have been folded under heated conditions too long, a little small for the fabric skin. They are possibly improving a little after a month, but still would work better a little stiffer to stay open and make a better target for tossed laundry. Open cell and breathable nylon might be problematic to hold completely soggy clothes, especially over any period of time, but damp is OK. They can probablyy be washed in a machine themselves if careful drying.
