I have had this island for over a year and it is holding up wonderfully! I left off the side that goes up and it looks great. It has added so much storage to my very small kitchen it delights me! I am 58 and I put it together myself in a few hours over 2 days. Most of my storage items I have gotten are from Yaheetech as they split the pieces in two boxes so I can actually lift them to get them to my condo. The items are well labeled with extra pieces and the directions easy to understand. I just ordered two more cabinets specifically from this company becaujse I know what to expect. I reccomend highly to single ladies for sure!

I like the affordable price, the look, that is has a drop leaf. The wood on top is super flawless and smooth. I didn't like that it was so many pieces to put together(2 large boxes worth). I'd pay $30 more if it was assembled. And I would've given 5 stars if it was even (partially) assembled! I bought it knowing it wasnt, but thankfully my husband tackled most of it. Other issue is the wheels "lock" but it still moves around, so buying an area rug for under it. Overall it really improves my kitchen's look, I have a small kitchen! Will like the extra storage space for sure.

We were looking for a long narrow island and everything we found was either over priced or not the look we wanted. So I decided to create my own look. We got this piece and the smaller version with no side drawers and put our trash in the center. We purchased an island top from ikea and screwed it on top, measuring for a lip on the back side for small bar stools. If you stood back (and were looking) you could see the small island top under the ikea one. I just painted it black and problem solved. The cutting board was basically the width of the island. I think it’s 18 and the ikea top is 25. The only thing I’d change about the island is maybe instead of 3 deep drawers, 2 of that size ( or slightly smaller) and 2 not so deep ones? And with the wheels locked if you lean hard enough the island will move. Maybe if the wheels were a different material? But overall im very happy with the product! Tons of storage space between the 2, and while I would have liked a less deep drawer I was able to make great use of them. And the doors have a soft close on them! I’m obsessed with how it turned out and the overall look! Would use this product again and again.
