Prevents Freezing Pipes in Cabinet Beneath Sink
For my purpose the two 75 watt heat lamps have done the job to prevent pipes from freezing in our unheated Sun Room with an ambient temperature of -15 deg F. With both lamps going in a cabinet beneath the sink, the temperature was 34 deg F at this outside temperature and the Sun Room was below 10 degrees. To make sure there was no fire hazard, I left them on with the outside temp 45 degrees and with the Solar Gain from heating the Sun Room floor and the cabinet temperature was 70 degrees.Of course, you should take precautions to see that nothing flammable comes in direct contact with the bulbs.I hope they last. When the temp of the Sun Room is above 32 degrees (for the entire 24 hour period), I turn them off, and only use them when needed to prevent pipes from freezing.

Excellent Height!!
Excellent! I like height of the lamp which leaves space between the lightbulb and the tank’s covering. Additionally, the duality allows one bulb for basking and another bulb for UVB Calcium rays.

Quality bulb.
The price point on these bulbs is not reflected in the quality of the product. You really do get the best bang for your buck. You pay less and get more. The bulbs seem to last approximately 4-6 months. I use them for my red tail sand boa. The other nice thing is that they don’t use more power than other bulbs. Definitely worth the buy.

Basking in the good luck!
These reptile bulbs are just as advertised and work perfectly fine. They heat up quickly, provide good coverage in the enclosure, and my reptile seems comfortable and active with them. No issues with flickering or burning out early so far. Solid choice if you need reliable bulbs at a fair price.

Lasted for only 1.5 months
Bought these March 5th. Arrived a few days later. One just blew after 1.5 months of use. The dome it was in has a max of 160w, these bulbs are 150w. Should not have blown in 1.5 months. Will not purchase this brand again!!!
