Really nice improvement - wish I'd found it sooner!
I saw a video with this addition to somebody's Eureka Mignon grinder and when somebody else asked about it, they linked here. I had to go get one. I've loved my Mignon Facile grinder, but the one frustrating element has been the tiny hard-to-fine-adjust fineness knob. Making a really small nudge can make a noticeable difference in grind, but it can be hard to make such a small adjustment with the small knob. This new knob is larger and also shows the degree of adjustment more clearly and granularly on the much larger included indicator that surrounds the hopper. I've found it far easier now to make exactly the adjustment I need to get from, say, slightly too coarse so that I'm getting a 17 second shot to just right in the 25-35 second range. I can more precisely move it the right degree to get to my desired result. Besides the great increase in functional utility, this mod is solid, made out of a quality painted aluminum that feels nice and will last along with this well-built grinder. It also looks great. The printing on the knob and the large indicator is attractive and clean and easy to read. It makes the grinder look a lot better. I've paired it with a single-dosing bellows attachment that replaces the big bulk hopper and the whole thing looks great. There are replacement knob projects available on the various 3D printing model websites. I've tried two of those and they looked OK, but those tend to slip over the existing knob and require attachment of a separate arrow to point to the coarseness number. I was never able to get the slip-over knob to securely attach -- rather, it would sometimes slip and make adjustment uncertain. Also, the plastic isn't as solid and doesn't look as nice. This alternative aluminum upgrade uses a complete replacement for the knob so it won't slip. It turns the grinder mechanism exactly as the original knob, but with the larger visual and easier control. If you have any of the Eureka Mignon models that are compatible with this upgrade, I highly recommend it.

Outstanding! Like it was made by Eureka
This is just a perfectly designed piece of gear. Fits perfectly - nothing to glue on or change; made of high-quality materials (metal knob), and most importantly, makes dialing in a shot with this grinder much much easier. Was about to return my grinder out of frustration but glad that I kept it. On top of that, ARO has made a very easy to follow instructional video that you simply watch (no wasted paper instructions). Very pretty upgrade
Very pretty and functional upgrade for my Eureka mignon facile. Gives myself a number for each coffee bean. Also gives the grinder a more premium feel. Install only takes about a minute, but you will have to re calibrate the 0 point on your grinder whenever you clean your grinder now. Also, you’ll have to dial in your beans when you first install this. Nate answers all questions right away. For that, and the high quality, I will give it a 5. In regards to the aluminum. I don’t doubt it is aluminum, but it feels like the faceplate is plastic. So I wouldn’t buy this solely to get an “aluminum look” to match the aluminum body of your grinder. That said; the lazer engraved numbers are likely higher precision and class than the competitors, and the dial itself is certainly aluminum. I like it and am having fun playing with the settings.

High quality, love the knob! Makes adjusting grind setting so much easier!!
I was originally going to look for a 3d printed version on Etsy, but Im so happy I came across this. It is way more professional looking and feeling! It looks like it could have come stock with my Eureka Mignon Silenzio. Dialing in the grind size for espresso has never been so easy. Im no longer scared to try multiple types of different beans at once, since I can easily switch back and forth.

Must have for eureka mignon zero
Great quality and fit as expected from ARO. Packaging was a nice touch as well as the instructions for ease of use. This is absolutely required for a eureka mignon zero and is pure value for money. Your grind quality will thank you.

pricey, but needed for eureka espresso grinders
broke down and purchased this item for eureka chrono grinder which i converted to an espresso grinder by replacing the 50mm filter burrs that came with the machine, for 50mm espresso burrs made by eureka. after wasting a pound or so coffee beans trying to dial in my espresso, recognized it would make my life alot easier if i just purchase this item for my grinder. device works and is easy to install, only takes about 3/4 of an hour, but what's the rush. only snafu was the small dial knob. the internal threads of the knob were not made during mfr. company promptly sent me a properly threaded one. good company service. now i am a happy camper with a good espresso grinder.

Fixes the biggest issue with Eureka grinders
Which is your ability to measure and replicate a grind setting. This mod is tight fitting, and has a nice metal knob. It does enable repeatable grinds. I’m able to go to 20 (quite fine) for one of my espresso blends, and then 70 for a reverse brewer I have, then back to 20 and still get a 27ish second extraction on my gaggia classic pro espresso machine. This showcases the use-case for this mod; if you switch grind settings often and need to be able to go back. This does not come without some minor flaws though. While the knob and dial plate is metal, the dial housing is plastic and the dial gear/base (not viable) is obviously 3D printed. I think the cost of this mod is a bit too expensive. Regardless, it still may be worth the added functionality. This mod kit pays for itself by saving me beans from dialing in. Is it worth it for you?

THIS ONE DESERVES OUR ATTENTION
This is a well-made, quality product that addresses what some feel is a shortcoming on the Eureka Mignon grinders—the grind size selector feature. On the original dial, it's never clear exactly where you are since the wheel must make several full revolutions to cover the range of the burrs from fine to coarse. The ARO attachment solves that problem in an easy to use way. Two drawbacks to the ARO. 1. You must raise the back of the plate to access the screw that secures the hopper. 2. You lose your setting when you remove the top of the grinder for cleaning. Number 1 is an easy fix. I removed the hopper screw and the hopper stays in place fine without it. Number 2 is not. Fortunately, it's not necessary to remove the top often, and resetting the dial setup is a fairly easy proposition. The ARO is a great upgrade for your Mignon grinder.
