Omg, so many of the reviews for this drive me up the wall! “It didn’t separate my chemicals for me” “it doesn’t come with instructions” it’s a piece of chemistry equipment, it doesn’t do the chemistry for you! If you don’t know how to use it already, you shouldn’t even be buying it. It is a very straightforward simple piece of hardware that works very well and is made of good materials. The people giving this 1 star need to return to their high school chem class, and pay attention this time!

I used this this to separate out some flocculant gunk that precipitates and floats to the top when making my annual batch of limoncello. The stopcock had a nice tight motion and didn't leak at all. It is adjustable, as expected with a small nut. I'm old enough to remember when stoppers were ground glass instead of polypropylene, but recognize you're not going to get that anymore, certainly not at this price point. The stand and accessories aren't great, but at this price, they're free add-ons compared to other options. I just hand-tightened the nut to secure the rod to the base when in use, and it stayed secure the whole time. It's a bit small for this this size funnel, so I only used it to hold the the funnel while everything settled, and held the funnel while dispensing the fluid into bottles. Funny thing is I ended up buying a $50 gun case to hold and protect the $30 funnel and accessories until next year. (It came well packaged in styrofoam, but I didn't want to deal with that breaking down over time.)

The separatory funnel is perfectly adequate but the stand and hardware it comes with is absolute junk. I literally threw it in the garbage so don't let that be the reason you buy this.

Love it! It works great, the hydrosol goes to the bottom and you can slowly release it at whatever speed you want while the still is still collecting the hydrosol and the oil (distilling essential oils). The only thing I would say is the metal ring needs a rubber sleeve to prevent the glass from moving around as your adjusting the drip speed. I will come up with something. I will also be mounting it on a heavy wood base for more stability. These adjustments are not a big deal, great price, easy to use, I'm very happy with this.

The zinc plated parts corrode badly when working with oxidizers and acids. I wish they were stainless

i took it to the limit. it holds 1000ml. very good quality, very light weight. good value for your money.

Honestly easy to use i was experimenting with some chemistry for fun and this made my life so much easier! Quality is great had a couple leak points while learning how to use it, but it works exactly as advertised and isn't to heavy.

Excelente producto, lo compre para servir miel en goteros, me fuera gustado que tenga una goma para agarralo pero pues con un fomi lo solucione jejejeje
