Awesome for wireless live streaming
This adapter is perfect for transmitting HDMI video from your DJI RC2 controller to another device for live steaming your drone infighting. Turn your RC2 on first and sometimes it takes a couple of tries for the DJI side, but works perfectly with.very little lag.

Great gadget
Nice to have - so many times we travel and I would like to mirror something to a phone to the TV that doesn't have the capability of it whether it be an older model or just doesn't have the Bluetooth capability. This fixes that and it's nice to have for traveling, especially when you're constantly in and out of hotel rooms. To be able to watch some thing on a big screen instead of just on your phone.

Works, but gets very hot. Will this be recalled?
While using it for the first time, I noticed it got extremely hot. This can't be normal. Seems like this is hazardous and could be recalled. I'd be open to receiving a replacement with a new version that doesn't over heat.

Less cords to work with
I got this because I wanted to be able to mirror off of my phone without having to hook it up to the tv with cords. This one is wireless. One end plugs into the tv and power source and then the other end plugs into your device. The end that plugs into your device has to be compatible with a USB C plug. My iPhone doesn’t have that so you need an adapter to be able to use it. I like that you don’t have to have lots of cords and it also comes with a carrying pouch to store the two pieces.

Decided to try this to wirelessly connect my Mini 4 Pro to a portable display. It works amazing on the rc2 controller! Couldn't be happier!

Worked perfectly on the first try connecting my DJI mini 4 to the TV. Thought it was great till I flew to Florida and spent 2 hours trying to get it to work again. Followed the instructions, updated the device, tried dozens of times with no luck. Won't work no matter what I do. Edit: don't know if this applies to more then drones but I found that if you tap the on button (then wait 2-3 seconds) then long press to start it works almost every time... such a simple thing as a pause between button presses actually fixes the issue 🙄

Setup was the easiest that I've ever had on a similar device, HDMI side goes in the TV, type-C side goes on the phone and boom, you're live. My understanding is that the devices uses its own WiFi network for the connection. Connection is stable with occasional frame drops when streaming video, it's good enough for many applications, but maybe not real-time gaming. The main issue with this device is that the type-C client side gets really hot, I noticed it and used a wireless thermometer to measure it, it goes above 70 degrees within a few minutes, which is very uncomfortable to hold and could even be a fire hazard if left unmonitored (video example attached where temperature was 74 deg) Overall I'm really disappointed with the overheating issue, otherwise this device would be perfect.
