Pepcid AC Maximum Strength, 20 mg Famotidine for Heartburn Prevention & Relief, 25 ct

I've been on some kind of prescribed acid blocker for a chronic health condition most of my adult life (40+ years). Max-strength Pepsid really works for me. I don't need a script, and I don't need to worry about some of the negative side effects associated with stronger meds of this type. If the acid flow/pain is really bad, sometimes I'll also take a soft, chewable antacid (fruit-flavored Rolaids) along with the Pepsid. The soft, chewable give some initial relief, while the Pepsid continues the relief for hours.

Small enough to swallow easily. I use it per my doctor to line my stomach before I take some other meds. Have had no trouble.

still prefer zantac...but this is good also

Always works quickly. For me, it is the most effective antacid by far.

Terrible in my opinion made my heart burn worse!
