Most of these types of garments from large well known companies like Maidenform are junk that does nothing. This is not that garment. This is power mesh used in all the right ways. It snatches in your waist perfectly, and comfortably. I am 5'3", 205 pear shaped and I purchased a Large, I normally wear xxl tops and pants, sometimes xl. I'm 16 months Post Op for Gastric Sleeve and I needed a garment to hold in my sagging loose belly without causing backfat/spill over from the top of the garment. I'm happy to say this one, while not a full back garment, still does a fantastic job of hitting right at the bra line in the back and not causing any issues between the two. The compression is fantastic, and the garment is still easy to get on. The straps have a clip so if you aren't keen on trying to pee through the opening, you don't have to get naked to go, this is a HUGE plus in my book.

Product works GREAT! This really slims you down in all the right places, without leaving your flab spilling over the top or out the bottom, and it's comfortable! The down side is the bathroom. It has a generous opening so theoretically you can go to the bathroom by simply sliding the fabric out of the way....but....I don't know if I can really pee without getting at least some of it on the garment...so, not sure I will be wearing this to my upcoming event....if I were just going to wear it for a few hours, it would be just fine...so I recommend the product for sure...but either make sure you have really good aim, or select it only for relatively brief events!

I’m 5’0 250-265ibs currently. I’m a C cup so I have a smaller frame in my upper body, and carry more of my weight in my stomach, hips, and thighs.I was so nervous, because with my recent weight gain of 15ibs I realized I was pushing the 3x, where I’d been comfortable wearing a 2x and size 18 in jeans, though I probably should have been wearing a 20.I can still fit my old 18s but I should be in a size 22 for comfort.Trying to help you get an idea of how I carry my weight, a so have the stomach of a pregnant woman. It doesn’t slouch over hang below my waist, instead it rounds out as if I’m carrying a baby.That said, the 2X worked on me! I was nervous I’d need a 3x, but the 2x is working just fine. I didn’t tear it or anything putting it on, and took it off to use the bathroom because I’m still wearing underwear with it. It does have a slit for the bathroom though.It really smooths out your appearance and helps hide the bumps and lumps that may make your dress unflattering. I’m so happy I found this before I purchased a more expensive one.

The open gusset is a joke - I have to hold it open to ensure I don’t get urine on it and forget about taking a poo! The hole is too small for that and actually covers up that entire area. If it’s a #2 then you’ll be taking it off so don’t wait until the last minute and don’t try a #1 in a rush either or you’ll have soiled clothes.I’m a Medium based on the measurements for this garment but I ordered a small for a snug fit. The small fits like a medium would fit on me. There’s minimal compression - just enough to know you have something on but not enough to make a huge difference in body shape/contour. I bought this as a garment to wear after my hysterectomy and it does not flatten my stomach nor shape me at all (compared to surgical garment and/or XS spanx). If you just need something get it but otherwise keep looking.

I bought this to wear as a backup to my traditional faja (e.g., when it was in the wash). Although it is not as compressive as a real faja, it was very decent and provided nice smoothing. It is pretty breathable and not uncomfortable under clothes in the summer. It has only one row of clasps under the zipper, so no sizing adjustments are possible. I ended up sizing down from a large to a medium (190 lbs, 5'8", 43 inch hips). I have struggled to find a faja that covered my full torso since mine is longer than average, even for my height, but this one covers right up to my bra line. The gusset worked well for peeing and otherwise remained comfortably closed, but I needed to take the whole garment off to do anything else. Reasonably comfortable for shapewear. For the price, definitely worth a try.

I recommend getting this. I wore it underneath a romper and dresses. Holds my stomach in so well and is very comfortable. Easy to get on. The material is so silky smooth. Thick gold spandex stocking type. The thighs part was a little tight, as I wore it longer wasn’t so tight. I highly recommend this!

This is just one of those things you have to keep working at, until you find a garment that fits the way you like. We women have so many different body "shapes" with the same measurements and weights that no company can match everyone perfectly. This garment is well made, but it leaves a strange line across the bum. I has superior compression at the top, but was too loose everywhere else. Again, not a manufacturing problem. When it comes to body types in women, there just is no "one style or company fits all." This garment fits a "pear-shaped" woman with a small waist and larger hips than the measurements for the size XL. I loved how the waist and torso fit, but if I go down a size, I will suffocate because my waist is small for an XL... but not THAT small.
