You need one in your bag of tools.
Worked perfectly with SSD drives. Solid build quality, feel. Very compact and I say youve gotta have one of these in your gadgets bag as you never know when you might need one. The cable length was a bit short but very usable, connectors solid. Solid enough to have a 1TB ssd hang off of a mounted server.

Great for use with windows 10 and 11
Works very well. Used for testing SSDs and troubleshooting. Amazing plug and play capabilities. The disk info reports properly on windows 10 and 11.

SHORT CABLE GOOD FOR 2.5” DRIVES
After purchasing a similar cheap alternative from AliExpress and being disappointed due to it not working, I purchased this and was instantly happy.Being able to access data stored on internal drives via an external USB port is very handy. The speed is exactly what you expect from 2.5 inch drives and is just plug n play when it comes to setup.Please do bear in mind that this cable will not work with larger 3.5inch hard drives due to those requiring a 12v connection.The cable length leaves some to be desired however for the cost, ease of use and functionality provided, I am happy.

High quality and fast
A much faster solution to an old adapter I had been using, transfer rates 10 times quicker. Very good quality.Plug and Play, and soon had file copies completed in record time.

Decent enough product when it works
Based on looks alone this item would be top class. It is stylish, feels robust and well finished.The problem is it doesn't always work. On many occasions it triggers a message along the lines of Windows does not recognise the USB device. Unplugging and plugging in may sort this but sometimes a reboot of Windows is required. It does not work at all with some drives, although to be fair that is likely down to those drives having a high power draw.Windows freezes on boot when this adapter is attached.These issues are possibly with Windows rather than the device itself but my previous USB to SATA adapter did not have these problems.When it is working transfer rates seem fast and stable.
