Solid, quality product.
These are well made, quality products. I was particularly concerned about the flip-up bar being able to support weight since it is cantilevered off the wall; when I finished the installation I sat on it (150 lbs) and it was solid. The plastic anchors provided would not be adequate in just sheetrock, though; I cut out the sheetrock slightly smaller than the flat steel plate, and was able to attach enough wood to existing studs to build out flush with the sheetrock. I also used larger screws than what was provided.

Great quality flip up grab bar. Shipped quickly. Awesome price, and the little extra grab bar is a nice bonus. I modify homes for handicap accessibility for a living and this is one of the best quality grab bars I have ever used.

Wonderful large grab bar
Wonderful large grab bar. Needs to be anchored to the beams because of the heavy bar and force on it when uou stand up.

Great device and excellent customer service!
I searched all over Amazon for a reasonably priced device just like this one. Recently my grandmother has had some balance issues with walking and has also been having fluid retention issues. Her home health nurse suggested we weigh her daily, but it took 3 of us (including my 92 year old grandfather) to help her balance on the scale. We installed this device today and she was able to step on the scale all by herself using the grab bar. Very grateful to the company for developing this valuable tool.
