Gotta say, I got these for trying to update my Xbox controller (rabbit hole, don't ask...) and they didn't work for that but when I plugged them into some earbuds they actually have amazing audio quality. And they have quite a bit of power behind them. I used some old 3.5mm iPhone pods (iPhone 5 era ear pods) and even the microphone works on it. So while they didn't work for my intended purpose, I'm 100% keeping these!

Did not expect a lot but they just work! Simple design small footprint and windows just recognizes them in the audio tray. Would definitely recommend and just buy a wired headset and this and your set!

Great option to connect a headset with a mic to a USB port. Works great for games and for work calls.

EDIT: Updated to 4-stars, because of user error. I didn't realize that during installation, I slightly pulled the other end of the cable from the back of the speaker, which led to the hum I couldn't get rid of. They appear to work and sound just fine now, which turns this into a much better deal than I originally thought. I am still holding back one star because the housing fell off of the 3.5mm end of the adapter. The adhesive used during the manufacturing process appears unable to adhere to the inside of the aluminum housing.I will also add that unlike a lot of other Amazon sellers, this seller has NOT contacted me to bribe me to change the review, which I respect. Though Amazon's AI gives the reliability of the reviews in this listing as unreliable and gives them a failing "F" score, I can't say anything negative about this adapter other than that they need to use a different kind of glue in their manufacturing process.::: Original unedited review below :::I give it 1-star because BOTH of the two pack I ordered do not function as intended. Fully connecting the adapters prevents any sound from coming out. If I am careful and pull it out a millimeter or two, I can get one speaker to work.They also have quite a lot of humming when I'm not playing anything. They were cheaply priced...but it's still a waste of money if they don't work in any meaningful way.

I am actually shook with the price I paid for these and the sound quality I get out of them. I had another 3.55 to usb and moving between that and this one, I am tossing the other one out today. Holy moly, this is a good one to get. Like, I have a Hagibis and the sound quality from it is worse than the sound quality for a 2 pack with this product. Suffice to say, the sound card in this little guy is amazing. 100% recommended

One of these snaps crackles and pops while playing back audio. The other seems to work okay.
