I bought some spindles from someone else that were long and 8 mm. I never knew there was a difference in the thickness of the thread. Yours was a 10 mm so it was the precise thickness that I needed and it is secure and does the job. I could have gotten away with the 8 mm but yours provides the right security for the gate that it was needed for. Thank you very much. Also the pads on the end are a firm Rubber and not gummy in case that helps anyone make their decision. Thank you again very much

Worked perfectly. Glad I did my homework on the size. It gave the extra length needed at the bottom of my Comomy child/pet gate. The original extension screws were pretty short, not allowing to fill the gap properly. Even my Lab was impressed.

Love the rubber ends and went on easily! Has been working great and the 10mm fits snuggly with minimal wiggle room to keep the gate from bouncing around. It has kept dog and child alike where needed. The length allows to be well used for wider door ways where just a little extra is needed for the gate. Considering to get another set for my other baby gate which rods aren’t that good anymore. This is good for the baby gate. They do bend easily so make sure to pack them good and wrap them so they don’t get damaged in a tote during a move. I can still use it but it is just slightly off. I would purchase again if I ever need to.

We've ordered these before and both times they worked perfectly, even though it was two different brands of baby gates. I like that they are extra long because it makes them stronger when I am reaching them to what would have been the original capacity of the original baby gate spindles. They are easy to install and use like any baby gate spindle and white matches my baby gate perfectly. I picked them for the price and I cannot imagine that other spindles could be better, so I honestly think it's the best choice for the money.

We bought these when after moving we realized we had lost one of the spindle rods to our baby gate. 3 worked but not well. Lol! So I purchased the 4 to get the 1. My husband decided to try them all. Everything is like tires and must be changed all at once apparently. But honestly, I'm glad he did! These feel tighter and more sturdy than the original! We're gonna buy another pack to replace on another gate!! What a great score!!

These work well, but definitely need the cap that screws into the wall in order for them to actually keep the gate up securely. They are slick plastic, no rubber to grip the wall.
