House of Striking Oaths: The Kingdom of Crows, Book 3

Did not Disappoint!
I love, love, love The Kingdom of Crows series. #3 Did not disappoint. It had me questioning loyalties trough out he whole book. You didn't know who was on what side and whether they were friend or foe. I LOVED that! Fallon and Lore have me totally enamored with their mind talk. Their intimate scenes with that swirly smoke is HOT. I also appreciate that Wildenstein ended it in such a way that if you want to stop here, this particular chapter of their lives has concluded, but if you want more then the next chapter of their story arc is still to come. And I want more. :)

unnecessary sex scenes
Don’t get me wrong I love a good kinky fantasy book, but honestly Lorcan and Fallon made love at the most ridiculous times. It wasn’t really relatable and I was exhausted for her. All that aside good read, exciting story!

Wow 👏 chefs kiss!
Book 3 does not disappoint and can not wait for book 4. I am still in love with this series. 😍 the ending of this book is not a huge cliffhanger like the last 2 but definitely leaves thing open for book 4.

this was the better book of the 3
This was the better book of the 3. I think book 2 would have been better if some of the answers we got in this book were shared in it instead. The first half of this book felt too much like info dumping. It was necessary, but it could have probably been planned out better.Overall this series had a great plot outside of the romance. The world, the magic, the fae, the crows, the shabbins, all of it was interesting. The MMC was written well. The supporting characters were written well. The antagonists and villains were written well. But as my other reviews will show I am not a fan of Fallon. She still did not redeem herself in book 3 for me. This is just not my type of FMC. And that’s okay. But I do think I would have liked this series way more and rated it higher if I did like her OR if we had dual POV to get out of her head every so often. It’s a shame we only get Lore in epilogues and a prologue.

An amazing series and author!
I loved the first three books and I can’t wait to read the fourth. I loved the world building and most of all the characters. I couldn’t stop reading I wish I could share my favorite parts but I won’t spoil the books for anyone. They made me laugh, they made me cry, and all the other emotions. I would recommend this book for anyone but especially those that love fantasy, strong characters, and a great story line. I read these in kindle but would love to have copies to read again later. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not as good as the others but still good!
Once again we were gathered for the tale of the crow kingdom. We expanded more on the kingdom, and the world around it, as well as the characters within. I will say this was my least favorite book of the three. It lacked the strong story telling featured in the first book, and character development from the second. This seemed like it was stretched out, and just a tale to explain why we don’t like Dante.. which we already didn’t. This was a book to get our beloved Fallon on board to the readers hate train of Dante. There were stellar scenes, like the reunion between Fallon and Lore, the ceremony between the two, and the ending scene. I felt as if this book featured some useless side quests that felt more like pointless filler, and not as structurally planned out like the two earlier books. I grew quite bored the last few chapters, more so anxious to just see the ending.I still rate this a 4 star because Olivia does have fantastic writing, I just wish the plot was more deep in this third addition to the series. It felt adventure-less.. which is something I adored about the first book, and semi got in the second. Still, this was a good closing book, and I hope to see Olivia make a spin off series possibly with the revealed “new” character in the end.Edit to add: right after I left this review I was notified she is indeed doing a spin-off book! I knew Olivia had a plan! Cannot wait as I’m excited to see the new adventure for this “new” character!

WOW
That’s all I have to say.—-Ok but really, I have truly loved this series. It is incredibly well written, the character development (chefs kiss), the plot, all of it is just so so good. I have read many of the romantasy’s on Kindles best rated/top sellers and truly I do not feel that many of them compare to this series. When I selected this series to read, I remember seeing something along the lines of “for fans of Sarah J. Mass and Jennifer L. Armentrout” - I don’t think there’s a comparison there either. I truly love this author, her style of writing, and her works of art.

Amazing book!
I love this series so much! This book wraps up the main story nicely but leaves so much to still be explored. I need the next book (which will be an spin-off) asap.

Fitting end
I really liked the way this ended. Lots of room to continue but have this story a fitting conclusion.Lore and Fallon show that being strong didn't mean you have to everything alone. Pulling from each others strengths they were to do Sri much more than alone.

Incredible conclusion to a fantastic trilogy
Outstanding conclusion to this fantastic trilogy. What a talent Olivia Wildenstein is, her world building is second to none. Who knew crow shifters would be so compelling and addictive! The story continues straight on from book 2. I feared for Fallon and what plans Dante had for her. He really grew uglier and more despicable the further I read, especially considering Fallons feelings for him at the beginning.Lore was just beautiful, deadly and sinfully hot and was never going to give up on his mate or his people. He was prepared to do anything for them, even to his own detriment.Fallon grew in strength, stature and maturity throughout as she discovered all the truths from the lies and secrets. I loved her, almost as much as Lore. With unlikely alliances, incredible twists I never saw coming, action, tension, suspense and of course love and romance, all made this the absolutely enthralling, thrilling conclusion I hoped it would be.5 huge loved it and can't wait for what comes next stars

Romantic fantasy with a twist
This is the third book and looks like there will be at least another book, but focused on other characters. These three are a quest with romance, an interesting and diverse magic system, and plot that keeps your reading, even if you really need to sleep.
