Super light weight and powerful suction
I bought the tool only, because I had an extension tube and a battery already. However, I've been using a different hand held vacuum until now. I have health issues, chronic pain and different types of arthritis. I can't step over a vac cord all the time and I can't push a full size vacuum around. The previous hand held vacuum i had was a little heavy, but it was better than other options. This vacuum is awesome! It's lighter weight, and the suction is even better. With the previous vacuum, I had two different batteries. The one that had more power was heavier so I had to deal. Not wirh this. It's significantly higher power and still lighter weight than the other one.The filter system is way better and easier to deal with than the "other" brand, it's part of the reason I went looking for a new vac. Also, aside from my needs of the design, we have to vacuum up debris, dog hair, sawdust, and various other things. This thing gets it all. Emptying it more often. Is well worth the effort. 10/10 🌟

Powerful
I was looking for a good portable vacuum. My previous one just did not have the power I wanted. This one works well. My only “complaint” is the accessory assortment was not good so I bought a kit to go with it. It expands it’s versatility greatly.

Great little vacuum
Like the fact that I can use my 18v ryobi batteries. This vac has good suction and works well.

The basic ryobi vaccum, get the water proof version if you can afford to!
Did not know there was a water vaccum version, would have bought that instead. This vacuum works well, and for the price it's about expected. Get the nozzle attachments if you want to get full utility as the default nozzle struggles to seal on anything that isn't flat or soft, when I used it on my car mat it couldn't reach the deeper areas, but if. i had a brush head it would have.On the heavy side mostly in the battery, can be used one handed. Pretty loud. The way you open to clean is very simpleRecommend buying this if you prefer removable battery designs and like the ryobi ecosystem, would not recommend for someone who only needs a dedicated vaccum tool with more functions.

This Ryobi vacuum is only good if you want to use it for a paperweight or doorstop!
I own a lot of ryobi tools and love them, so I looked forward to getting this vacuum. I am very disappointed in it. The design is bad.First of all, it needs cleaning a LOT - even when using it for very small jobs. The filter gets clogged very easily.Second, cleaning it is terrible. Why? When you take it apart to clean the filter and empty it, it doesn’t turn back on easily again! The way it goes together means that it doesn’t fit tightly when you re-attach the parts after cleaning the filter and/or emptying it. If it isn’t just right, it won’t turn on. Nothing broke off of any part, it’s just a poor design.Getting it “just right” often takes a while. We taped it back together to hold it in the right place in order to get it to turn on.I don’t like it, but if it didn’t require cleaning the filter so often I might be able to live with it for a while. But putting on tape and then having to take it off, clean it and then tape it again is ridiculous. Especially when I have to do that in order to vacuum up even a little bird seed that my canary kicked out on the floor. This is not OK. Forget using this thing to vacuum out a car. It’s too late to send it back, so any day now, I am just going to take it to a place that does recycling of things like this.Very sad that it’s turned oMaybe there are some of these that don’t have this issue, but I won’t chance getting another one made by Ryobi again.

A hubby purchase vacuum
My husband bought and loved this. He passed away unexpectedly on March 14 2025. 😭💔❤️🩹 he would have taken to heaven. I’m grieving hard so I use it everyday!
