Works great and isn't an eyesore
These do a great job of attracting flies and the sticky pads are super easy to change. They're also not an eyesore like other wall light traps i've seen in the past. Super easy to install.

Easily mounted
We run a non profit that provides free meals to the community throughout the week. Keeping food items in the pantry, even in airtight containers has not helped to get rid of the little moths that are always hanging about. It's so difficult to wipe them out because we don't want chemical fogs or sprays being used in a food prep area....don't want them used at all actually, food prep or not. This doesn't eliminate the problem entirely, but it definitely diminishes the infestation. It's so weird because we keep everything airtight now, but the problem arose by mishandling of flours and pastas from years past and even with no access to foodstuffs they are finding a source of sustenance somewhere.Anyway, this does capture a great deal of them and continues to do so as new ones hatch out. It's easy to mount...screws provided, but we found that alien/nano tape was much simpler to use. It's also easy to change out the sticky replacements sheets when needed. The building is large with 14-16 foot ceilings, but we are planning on acquiring a large space ozone generator. We used it in our apartment and it eliminates all odors and pests...fantastic device and one our venue needs. But for the average home that is plagued with tiny flying insects, this manner of dealing with them is very effective and non-toxic.

Does the job
This trap works well! The light attracts the bugs and they get stuck to the board. It doesn't leave a mess of dead flies on the ground underneath like other designs do.I'm very happy with it, but marked it down one star because it doesn't have an on-off switch. Also, the glue boards have to be replaced and they are pricey.

Vector makes great industrial bug catchers for commercial businesses!
This is a simple device to set up. It plugs up and is ready to go right out the box. There is nothing to put together or to build. The light attracts the bugs and the device eliminates them. The unit housing is all metal. The door or flap folds down and is held up by 2 strong magnets. This fly trap device is good for fungus gnats and fruit flies. Plugs into standard 120v cords and you can attach a wall timer to it to turn it on and off on a routine. Vector makes great products for pest control!

Amazing Quality, good design, and works well.
I ordered this Vector Optima Light Trap to help control the flies. I prefer to spend most of my time outdoors but this year the flies have just been awful. I have repeatedly hosed, scrubbed and baited my large patio and surrounding areas but nothing has helped. I have even set up several zapping bug catchers and it is like they weren't even there. Once I mounted the bracket to hang the Vector Light Trap, I plugged it in and it started working. I can actually enjoy being outdoors again. This trap is super easy to install. I love that the frame has small magnets for easy access to both the bulb and the sticky board. The only thing I would change about this product would be to add an on/off switch, which I will be purchasing to make the use of the light trap much more convenient to use. This is an amazing product and I could not be happier with it.

Simple to Use | Easy Set Up
It is a bit smaller than expected and fits perfectly between the garage doors.I love that the cord is long enough not to need an extension to use.Somple, effective and out of the way. I really like that it will lure bugs 24/7 with the garage open or closed. This is a great, efficient add to the garage and we are happy with it.

Gnat eliminator
I live in Dallas so there’s no shortage of bugs. This year we’ve had an ongoing infestation of gnats in particular following a very wet spring. I’ve been using a tabletop tennis racket type big zapper which is very effective, but leaves their carcasses EVERYWHERE and I get concerned about it overheating and being a fire hazard because it’s made of plastic. This Vector trap is the PERFECT solution. It’s made of aluminum, it’s large, the UV light is nice and bright and as my grandma used it say, it attracts everything but boys and money…LOL! Bugs enter the trap and get stuck on the glue board so there are no carcasses to constantly vacuum up and no popping in the middle of the night. The replacement boards are somewhat pricey, but since this trap is so large a board will last 2-4 weeks depending on how bad the infestation is. I love this trap and I’m getting another one for my patio for when we spend time outside.

Easy to set up, just wish it came with more than 1 glue board to start with
This Vector Light Trap is lightweight, and easy to install. It comes with a template and can be mounted using two points of contact, or you can use the provided bracket. The light is a Phillips UV light bulb. The plug is UL rated. The front door opens by pulling down and exposes the glue board so you can change it.Cons:Only comes with 1 glue board. Replacement glue boards are available but these are pretty pricy. If there were 2 things I wish this could do...1. I wish there were an easy way to replace the fly trap boards. Like a slot to put this through. Currently, you have to peel this off and I frankly don't like keeping my hands where dead bugs are.2. I wish there were an on/off switch. No switch means that I'm either unplugging this by hand, or using an outlet timer to set it to go on and off at certain times.
