I have lots of hats with glitter and colorful trim, but really needed a basic black one for those bad-hair days when I have to run out to the store for some little nothing that seems important at the time. :-) I wanted black because it goes with more, so when I saw this "cheapie" at Amazon, I grabbed it up! For this low price I expected it would be poorly constructed, so I'm very pleased that it's sturdy, well-made and of good material. Woo-hoo... For once I got a real bargain. I bought this cap for my husband because he has to wear a black cap on his job and the company only supplies one. That cap is frequently too dirty to wear the next day. Who wants to worry about coming home and washing a darn cap after working 10 hours? This cap is far superior in quality. He wants to wear this one all the time. Because it is easy to clean he usually does just that. I paid more than you pay for an average cap but it was well worth the extra money. In this case at least, you get what you pay for and I am glad I bought it. Sometimes in our ever lasting hunt for a bargain I think some of us forget that quality counts too. And this cap, is quality!

Great product, perfect fit for me! The only reason I won't give them 5 stars is because first product came with a defect (the top button wasn't attached, exchanged it for a new one, both times with timely shipping.

I wanted a cap without a marketing logo on it. If a manufacture wants me to advertising their product by wearing their name they should pay me for it. The cap is of good quality, very expandable and I normally wear a 7 5/8 cap and I have enough length to go much higher if my head grows. Price was great, a love it and so does my son so I hide it from him.

I'm a large male (Around 6'3 and 250 lbs) and this hat fits fine. I've gotta keep the velcro in the back almost secured by about a half an inch otherwise it's too tight. But it's great, durable, and comfortable. I wear it on the job 3-4 days a week and don't really have any complaints. It is a little tall looking though. I like it, but some people might not.

This cap appears to be excellent value. Most caps are $15- $18. The very low cost makes this product a bargain. The quality and styling are completely adequate for my use. This cap fills the bill for a low cast, nice looking black cap that can be used for occasional field hockey officials work. Since I don't use it for anything else, I cannot rate it as a heavy duty cap.

I was looking for a plain cap to go with a black jacket. This is a basic twill-type cap with the plastic-tab type of size adjustment. I usually need the largest size and this fit me OK. Saved a lot of time driving to a store looking for a simple item like this.
