I've used this a few times without issue, but today my phone got stuck in it. The lid would not open at all. I tried setting the timer to one minute to try to prompt it to open, but the lid was stuck and I had to pry it open to get my phone out. And this was while an alarm was going off on my phone at full blast for over twenty minutes. A really fun way to start the work day. This went straight into the trash as soon as I got it open.

I can’t live without this locking case now! I am easily able to set blocks in my day where my phone is absolutely off limits. I haven’t needed to use to, but I do really like that I can get to my screen enough to make an emergency call if needed. I still wear my Apple Watch, but keep it in so not disturb, so if I’m expecting an important call I can answer to on my headphones and my phone can stay locked up. I got this for my husband to hold his cigarettes. It's a little tricky to set, but it counts down to whatever time you set it to. It's advertised for cell phones but works wonderfully for your demon cigarettes.It can be set to just open or to make a sound when the time is up. It's great and worth every penny.

We bought this box to keep our daughters phone locked while our teen is in school. The box worked as advertised for one week. Now, despite being charged and the screen being on, the buttons don’t work and the box cannot be opened or reset. Complete waste of money.

So, I got this for my ADHD grown son, who has an exceptionally difficult time putting down his phone. So he gets nothing done. Including sleep. So this was an urgent purchase. Upon the very first first interaction I had with this contraption, it wouldn't open. It wasn't locked, obviously, since there is a digital read out that says whether it's locked or unlocked, and I was pushing the very obvious button that is meant to open the lid. I had directions from the Amazon post open in front of me, also the very small instruction manual it came with... And... I'm not a stupid person. I know how to read directions. It just wouldn't open. I had to work with it a good 20 minutes before finally it eeked open. I'll come back and change my review of it gets easier going forward, and I will send it back if it doesn't. Hope that's not the case, because I'm disabled and have a hard time traveling to get to the UPS store to send it back. UGH. 😥
