Mini but Mind blown
I've played guitar for about 11 years. I'm now on a professional contract. And in them years I've used many many wah pedals and this is easily the best I've had. I've used the classics you've all heard of... And this is better. In my opnion. The fact it doubles as volume and wah is excellent and it's super easy to switch between the two as well and even has a light so you know what setting it's on for gigging. I used this on my last four gigs, it's a professional venue with stage lighting and lots of smoke etc and I could see the light through the dark purple and smoke, green light= volume, red light=wah. Both feature work amazingly. The wah has that wah sound you're desperate to find. I've searched years for the perfect tone and setting of wah and this covers every area and it's redicolously cheap. It is small... Yes.... I'm a size UK 9, and my shoe covers the entire pedal, you do need to have a little more care when using it, more attention to the pressure and position of your foot on the pedal, but it works so well and it's super easy to adjust to it's smaller size. The benefit too is it fits nicely on a smaller board like mine, takes up less space for more pedals (because we're always wanting to add a new pedal aren't we people of Amazon? 😜) There is a large deal of hiss when the wah is engaged, this is typical of wahs, but this was aggressive, so I bought the noise gate you see (budget pedal that also blew my mind at how good it is) and it totally eliminates the buzzing and hissing from the wah and any gain/distortion I have active at the time with minimal signal impact and works from a low setting too. If you're not bothered about hiss for home practice then don't worry about the noise gate. But I had a gig and needed it badly but then found they had me plug into a DI and so eliminated all that extra noise anyways and didn't need it for that gig! But it's still a vital bit of kit especially with this wah if you don't want that extra noise. For the price. Sacrifice the size and go for it. You won't regret it. I haven't. Mini wahs are the new way forward!

Compact and very functional!
This little pedal does exactly what it says vol/wah and does them very well. I had doubts at first due to the size, but after using it for just a few minutes, all doubts disappeared as it fits right snug in the middle of my foot. Volume drops gradually till about 3/4 way down then it's silent with last push of heel. To activate wah simply press all the way with toe and a light stomp with toe. The responsiveness of the wah is exactly like the cry baby or vox versions and with just another stomp you're back into volume control again. My unit did not come with the 9v power supply, so when I purchased one I extended the wiring and attached it to the 1/4" cord so that I can have my pedal out front and further away from my amp. This is definitely a great pedal for stage, jam practice anytime as a regular part of gear.

Small, Yet Effective
I was in the market for a wah and the added benefit of using as a volume control was tempting. It is smaller which is perfect for my small pedal board (not playing shows or anything so trying to keep it light). The Wah is very sensitive and sounds great. The volume doesn't have a long ramp. It's almost effectively an on/off switch, but there is some variance in the higher position. Overall I is exactly what i wanted for a decent price. I purchased another SONICAKE pedal which was very high quality so I figured this one was worth the shot. I am not disappointed. The only thing that I have the smallest grief about is the position of the 9V AC port. It is on the top right. Since I have my volume/wah first on the board it means that the power cord needs to wrap under and to the right which isn't as huge deal, but I worry about it getting caught between the pedal and base. Would be better if it was just on top like most other pedals.

Let me tell you why this is five stars.
It's small. It's cheap. It's brown. ...But not in a turd-like manner. It's not like there's a lump of poo on my pedal board; this is much more than that. It's an inexpensive, small, passive potentiometer you control with your foot. You can use it to attenuate (but not boost) your overall volume, or you can use it to control parameters on some pedals. E.g. I've used it to control the EQD Avalanche Run. This gets five stars not because it's "the best" of the four expression pedals I have, but because it's the best value in a passive volume/expression pedal. I don't expect this to stand up to years of abuse, but I don't plan to abuse it, so it might very well last my lifetime, unless modern science catches up to the challenges of entropy, gravity, and their increasingly annoying effects on my creaky-ass body, making me live an absurdly long time. ...But I digress. This pedal is almost identical to another one I have. It's orange, made by Valeton, which I found out is made by the same company as Sonicake, hence the similarities. The other two pedals I have are more expensive: The DOD mini expression pedal, which feels better to the feet and seems more durable, despite its internal plastic gears, and the full-sized Moog expression pedal. The latter two have more expression pedal options, but both lack native volume control. ...So the Sonicake and Valeton have a leg up in that regard. So, that's why this is a five star pedal. BROWN!

Mehhhh... very small and no frills
The Sonicake VolWah is a 2-trick pony: Volume pedal and Wah pedal, switchable w/ toe press. That's IT folks. You cannot control the "sweep" of the pedal. You cannot set a "minimum" value on the volume. etc. etc. etc. Hey, if you're desperate for a really small, completely basic vol-wah pedal, this may be what you're looking for. But these days, not having some form of configurability is a losing proposition. I'm keeping it (mainly out of principle) for my new "mini pedalboard" setup, but given the other options on the market, I would not buy this pedal again. On a positive note, it's cheap, it basically works, and it only draws 25ma power.

Whilst this may appear as a Wah pedal, it is not. It is a volume pedal. If you searched for a wah pedal, and this came up and it was the BLACK model, that is the Wah pedal. If you change it to the BRONZE colour, that is a different pedal altogether: a volume pedal. It doesnt tell you this in the description. I did that and ended up with the wrong pedal. Very disappointed child on Xmas morning after plugging it into the amp.
