DuluxWeather Shield Quick Dry Undercoat Paint, 750 ml - White

this is a great product for protecting external wooden doors and window frames.Very east to apply ,just a thin coat then paint as normal.I last painted my front door over twenty years ago though it is protected by a small overhanging verandah,the door is still in great condition but i will smarten it up this year with a light sand and re paint.Dulux weathershield definitely does what it says on the tin.Very long protection.

Covers easy. Quality good. Good value for money. Looks really bright. Drys quite quickly. Will use again.

normally go to dulux trade centre and purchase trade version but wasnt working near a centre so got this from amazon . fast delivery knocked one star off as its alot thinner than dulux trade weathersheild quick dry undercoat

Excellent paint

Good paint, good coverage. Applied during a prolonged warm, dry spell. I found that if my paint brush was to be effectively cleaned after painting an intricate surface, I had to set a timer and switch paint brushes after 15 to 20 minutes, plunging the previous paint brush into water to avoid the brush becoming unrecyclable. Not a big issue once I eealised and I am pleased with the result.

Perfect for my garden gates. Used straight on top of stained wood and provided excellent base for a satin-finish topcoat.
