Works well and has made making icord for projects much faster. A few teething issues getting it to work right but once figured out its effortless and easy. First test it took maybe 5-10 minutes to cord up an entire regular size skien of wool which normally would have taken an hour or more to do my hand. So long as you remember to adjust the weight up when needed you can easily turn and forget about it as your winding it. Good value for money and a sturdy product

This is brilliant. Delivered 10 minutes ago, straight out the box, made the cord shown in the photo and that's with limited sewing/knitting skills! Highly pleased. Sturdily built. Do use the supplied weight and don't have the feeding yarn tension too tight as this affects performance. I'll be using this to add cords to my knitted projects, like bags, etc. I would say it's a bit pricey for what it is but as it works straight away with high quality, I guess it's value for money.

As another reviewer said - this is the one, you don't need to try any others to get perfect icord. Worked right out of the box (getting the hang of starting off took me 2 or 3 goes but once I did it was pretty easy) It won't handle much heavier than double knit and I found i got the best results with the less fluffy 'shiny' synthetic DK's (like Divante yarn at The Range) My only complaint is that I haven't been able to identify any way to replace the latch hooks if one were to break which given the machine cost, seems unreasonable.

After buying and trying a couple of this type of gadget from amazon I came across this one and thought I would give it a go as it had some great reviews, I wanted something to make lettering on bobble hats, I almost gave up and thought about buying the old french knitter that we used to have as children but that would have been too time consuming, this on eBay took a while to arrive as it came from America but it was definitely worth the wait, it is so easy to use, the instructions are really clear and simple,, the quality is fantastic and it worked perfectly the first time I tried it, I got so excited with the quality of the cord that came out of it that I had to keep trying different wools and yarns, each one was perfect, I am absolutely thrilled with this little gadget.

Once I got the hang of it it’s pretty easy to use. Pay attention to the tension of the yarn feeding in and you’ve cracked it. Practice makes perfect

I used it the first month, made a cord or two and left it packaged up in my cupboard. Come to find after a couple months it just won't work anymore. The hooks don't react at all, they seem to have just unattached themselves to the rotator so nothing happens when I wind it up

French knitting is very fast & fun with this i-cord machine. It's very easy to use - my grandchildren love it too.

Si has probado un tricotín barato este te sorprenderá muchísimo porque funciona muy suave y rápido. Para mi gusto no tiene nada que envidiarle a otros eléctricos porque es muy rápido y no se engancha nada. Al empezar a trabajar con el va como la seda.

Heel blij met dit product. In een workshop hier mee leren werken en dit apparaat is werkelijk fantastisch.

Really cool craft gadget. Perfect for the cord knit wire names. Needed to watch a few how to videos to get the hang of it, but in the end it worked great.
