As anyone shopping around for a nomex flight suit probably already knows, generally these run at a price point of over $150 (I suspect there’s a bit of price gauging at hand, there with those other sellers), so this being priced at around $25 was such a good deal that I was actually suspicious of it being legitimate. While I haven’t run into a fiery building or anything since I got this, it has the exact look and feel, as well as appropriate tags, of the nomex flight suits I’ve worn many times before (in and out of the military). I typically wear a size 44L, so these are a bit bigger at 48L, but these fit, a little baggy, but just fine. I’d definitely recommend these. Actually, no, don’t buy these, so I won’t have to worry about this seller running out before I buy another pair.

I purchased this to use in lieu of a full on race suit during the hot summer months. This is for d/e events only and allows me some fire protection in a very light suit. The zippers in the bottom of the legs allows me to put on over my driving shoes so I can remove the suit and dry it in between runs. So you get affordable fire protection without laying out race suit costs

I fly helicopters, Nomex is lightweight, but protective.
