This higher viscosity high build Pale Sealer is specially formulated for the contract polishing and joinery market. Suitable for use under wax as an easy to use finishing system. Sealing is a technical term used by professionals who finish wood on a regular basis. Sealing has two functions: 1. As a quick drying joinery finish to seal wood after staining or maybe before waxing. 2. As a base coat for subsequent coats of Shellac Polishes. Sanding Sealers are not suitable for surfaces that come into contact with excessive wear, heat or moisture. A range of high quality Shellac Sanding Sealer Originals formulated by Gedges of London. These products were regarded as the best available by antique restorers and polishers for most of the 20th Century.
