AIDATAPortable Lapdesk upto 15.6 inch Notebooks

I am a writer who often writes in bed, and found that the fan on my 13 inch laptop was getting covered by the quilt. After using a cardboard lid as a makeshift lapdesk for the longest time, I went searching for loads of proper ones, and eventually decided to invest in this one. I wanted something low profile, that would stop the laptop's heat from dissipating onto my legs whilst sitting on a sofa. And it's perfect.2 rubber strips on the base prevent it from slipping on surfaces, whilst the rubber surface prevents the laptop from slipping. I often raise my knees and so far mine hasn't slipped once.The mouse pad (which pulls out on either side) is also a decent size, and although the surface of it is plastic, an optical mouse would have no issues at all on the surface.The whole lapdesk feels high quality and is perfect for my 13 inch laptop. I also take my. laptop out a lot, and think the lapdesk is just-right for portability. It would have no issue fitting into a laptop bag made for larger laptops.The only potential issue which made me give it 4 stars instead of 5, is the slightly raised company logo in the centre, which will only be a problem for totally flat devices. I never found it to be an issue for mine, however, as my laptop has a built in strip which slightly raises it.

I wanted a laptop tray which was small enough to fit into my laptop bag, big enough to take a 13" Mac, with space for a mouse, and a cushion underneath.Sounds simple, but after extensive Googling, I couldn't find quite what I wanted, so I decided to give this a try - Apart from the lack of a cushion, it seemed to tick the boxes.Delivery was prompt via Royal Mail, and it was well packaged. It is a perfect size for my 13" Mac, and the retractable "either side" mouse tray is ideal - just the right size and surface for a standard laser mouse. It also fits easily into my laptop bag.(I've addressed the "cushion shortage" by simply making my own removable cushion with some leftover cushion fabric, a bit of Velcro, and a few recycled polystyrene beads. Since then, I've been persuaded to do the same for a friend - she asked me to order this tray for her, then supplied one of her cushions for me to customise it in the same way. I need to take out a patent :-)

Even thou this is advertised as for a 15.6 inch laptop it does fit neatly (i.e same size JUST) However i use my laptop on my bed and don't want my quilt to cover the fan an cause it to overheat. so luckily im right handed an the fan is on the right hand side so i can pull out the mouse mat out an it stops the fan from being blocked. So if your right handed an your fan is on the right it will work. If your left handed an your fan is on the left it will but if your left handed an the fan is on the right or right handed an the fan is on the left you may have a problem Hope this helps

I wanted a lapdesk form my brand new Macbook as I was worried about it overheating on my lap and also want to use it in bed. I didnt want one of the fan assisted desks. Read the reviews for this so gave it a go and really pleased with it. It is very comfy on my lap, keeps the laptop stable when I use it in bed. I also tend to use it even when I sit at a table to avoid any scuffs to the bottom of my laptop. Havent used the mousepad to date but thats a great idea. All in all I think this is an excellent product at a vety good price and would definitely recommend it.

What I wanted was a Logitech N315 Lapdesk. Logitech don't seem to make this particular model any more, you just get utterly pointless versions with build in track pads.So I was in two minds about getting one of these. I expected the worst, I expected plasticy wobbly rubbish, but the reality is it's pretty good.It's surprisingly heavy, and quite rigid. The mouse table slides out either end and importantly is also rigid. It could be a little more rigid, but it's rigid enough.

A pretty good lapdesk, with a good textured rubber surface to prevent slippage. It's a little small for a 15.6" laptop though, my MSI GE60 is just slightly wider than the main lapdesk part, so it sticks out slightly over the extendable mouse-mat section. The mouse bit is slightly flimsy when extended, but perfectly useable.

This is a definite must if you prefer using a mouse to the awful touchpad which I can't get on with at all. A mouse is more precise but after ruining my previous laptop by using the mouse on the surface of the laptop & scratching it, I wanted to make sure I didn't make the same mistake again with my new laptop!The Aidata lapdesk is one of the best things I ever bought & just wished I had seen it earlier. It not only keeps the heat of the laptop from your legs but the slide out mouse tray is ingenious as it can slide out from both sides so it doesn't matter whether you are right or left handed. It also has non-slip rubber strips underneath & will still fit into a laptop bag or case with your laptop. Don't even bother looking at anything else - you won't regret it.

I really like this laptop tray, it feels well made and sturdy, the slide out mouse tray feels strong and ideal for me as I much prefer using a mouse to the trackpad on my laptop especially when playing games or photo editing! It fits perfectly into my laptop bag alongside my laptop, I have a 15.6" HP laptop it slightly overhangs the edges but still feels secure due to the great grip on the tray. The only reason I have given it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I still felt quite a bit of heat from my laptop on my legs so I may have to use with a cushion underneath for comfort.
