The CAT S22 flip is a daily driver replacing my iphone, runs on Android go and million points to the nostalgic form factor. This 2021 retro tech comes with internal 16gb of storage which, not only is plenty slick to carry out everyday basic operations like planning, calculating, calling, googling, texting, payments, navigation and OTG entertainment with gigs of off-grid music stored on an SD card which won't require geekbech scores to operate, but also is not excessively intrusive like most of the boring slabs of cutting edge tech that constantly lives off the otherwise baseless digital engagement today. Has saved me a lot of screen time because you really can't do much with the tiny screen but it's there just in case. Instead, I am finding more ways for self improvement while learning a new hobby, building genuine connections or doing something that truly matters to me without any distractions. Looks rugged enough to smack someone's head with it like a brick if needs so and is ip68 rated for water and dust proofing. A very cool handset that can also work as a two factor authenticator too ! 1. Sellers are delivering used or refurbished phones. I received scratched phone.2. Single key press with any key registers multiple times.3. Battery backup is very poor.4. Sometimes the phone would stop making and receiving call and has to be restarted.5. After a month of use, the hinge becomes loose.

Im rating this 5. but there are tiny issues which would be better if Manufacturers improve it.Pros: No more handling phone like nuclear lab experiments. You can use it like hard and hold it hard old nokia phones.1. Minimal phone for detoxers or IT worker who just want off-screen time.2. Payment apps like paytm is working fine. Whatsapp is fine. All apps are fine.3. No more holding phone softly. You can hold phone tight and use it hard. Made for construction site.4. Water proof and Chemical proof. You can get wet in rain without fear of damaging phone. Perfect for outdoor people.5. There is glove mode. Mototrcyclists can use it with gloves.6. It supports PTT wireless audio transmission like walkie talkie but receivers needs CAT phone too.7. It supports Indian sims. It takes few steps to unlock device and receive Internet configuration. Don't get discouraged.Disadvantages:1. No finger print scanner. Unlocking using pin takes some time and effort compared to finger print.2. Battery is 2000 Mah only but has decent discharge time.3. Not for heavy whatsapp users and email typists. It is good for sending hi's, hbd's and bye's.4. Only 2GB Ram. App take few seconds to load.5. Mobile Data can be turned off in lock screen which causes security issues while using Find Device app.Tips:1. For quick keypad usage, install T9 keyboard app grom github instead of inbuilt keboard app.2. Nova launcher better than inbuilt launcher. Itis faster and supports keypad for app drawer. Also app drawer can be opened using keypad.3. There is a 5v charging pin avilable on back of phone but no official charging available. If you are IOT developer, you can 3D print a charging dock.

This is a full functional android 11(Go) phone supporting all android apps, runs smooth and supports all daily need - i am just enjoying this flip snap calling just like old college days and really like the rughed build of it. It gives me the vibes of having an actual phone, which can also support your daily needs of today's world. Battery lasts decent over a day, just like any other android. And yeah its bulky !!

Very sturdy and rugged. I used it for going outdoor. The only issue is... battery is not that good.
