XMIS4.5" Diamond Saw Blade Granite Blade with 5/8"-11 Flange for Cutting Porcelain Tile Granite Marble (4.5"-Flange)

I bought this to cut 4" off the width of a piece of 1 1/4" x 28" granite for a shower seat. I taped the edge and made a starter cut. It was so smooth, I adjusted the blade for about 1/2 the depth. The second pass cut thru. It is going to be inset so no need to polish. I touched up the top surface edge with 60 grit, then 120 grit sandpaper on my DeWalt orbital.No way did I imagine doing this in 2 passes. Have never owned a grinder and at 74 didn't wish to purchase. And the blade is still good!

I cut a 1-1/2" slab of granite with this blade. I used a corded skill saw, and didn't use water. I set up a fan to blow very strong air across the cutting fence. The cut was clean and smooth. I worked the saw slowly along a fixed fence. I had the slab securely held in place. The cut could not have been easier.

Used this to cut cement boards, works well.
