If You Have Cats You Want These
I bought a couple sets of these when I was replacing my plastic litter boxes with the nice stainless steel ones. I am *really* glad that I did.The laundry room, where we kept the litter boxes, was always a little bit stinky, even on a good day. I would sometimes find a puddle of cat pee on the floor. And there were often pee stains on the wall. Cleaning this up was a real pain in the butt. I keep a bottle of Nature's Miracle on hand, which works really well. But the pee would sometimes get up under the litter box so I had to pick it up and clean the bottom of it and the floor with paper towels, then spray the Nature's Miracle underneath the box and on the floor. A full litter box is heavy. And it's tough to clean the bottom when you're trying really hard to not get any of the urine on you. These splash guards made all the difference in the world. I bought two of those stainless steel litter boxes and put them side by side, touching each other. Then I used these splash shields on the back and the sides, leaving the front open. I did have to tape a couple of the shields together with packing tape, there where the two litter boxes were touching in the back, so that there wasn't a gap in the splash guards where they might hit the wall.Since then there have been *NO* puddles of urine on the floor at all. And nothing on the wall either. I can see whenever a cat pees and it hits the plastic shield, rather than going directly into the cat litter. Wow! It happens a lot! No wonder there was always some stinkiness in the room. When they do hit the plastic shield there can be a bit of a smell from the urine, but I just squirt the pee stain on the plastic with a bit of Nature's Miracle. I don't even have to wipe it up. I just let the enzymes do their thing. No muss, no fuss, no smell. The adhesive that holds the Velcro to the inside of the litter box and to the back of the pee shield seems to be really good. I've been using these for months and they are not coming loose at all, as far as I can tell.Do yourself a favor and use these plastic shields with stainless steel litterboxes. Keep a bottle of Nature's Miracle nearby to squirt on the shields as needed. It will make a huge difference.

so helpful for high pee-ers
I have one kitty that pees above the rim of all the litter boxes, no matter how tall they are. She tends to stand with her booty as close as possible to the edges (often the corners), so the pee goes outside the box quite a bit. I bought these, and they are very helpful. I ordered enough for 3 per box, but that doesn't provide enough to cover the corners. So I will get enough for 4 per box next time. In the meantime, I used tape and other plastic to cover the spaces on corners (where overlap doesn't meet). They can be wiped down to clean and so far, the adhesive has held up. Not sure how long wiping them down will hold up until they start smelling, so I can update if I find that the smell is bad. She still sometimes pees at the front corners, where these don't reach, so I have a pee pad in front of the box for now.

Recommend, With A Head's Up
I purchased these because one of my cats would occasionally spray after using the litter box and it was getting on the walls, carpet, and whatever else the litter box was close to. I adhered these to 3 sides of the litter box, and it was an instant fix to the problem. Now when he periodically sprays, he sprays against the plastic guards, and it runs back down into the litter (still gross, I know!). An added benefit is that my cats are also weirdos and like to dig to China, flinging half the contents of the litter box across the room, and this also prevents anything from getting kicked out in the process. Of note, the adhesive was not strong enough for me, but I do have curved edges on my litter box. I ended up having to super glue the panels onto the inner walls of the litter box, and since then they've held up perfectly fine. All problems solved!

Great idea litter box shields!
This is a great idea! Does stay mounted very well. It should come with a roll of double stick tape to make instillation easier and make the somewhat re usable!

Incredible Product !!
These splash guards are absolutely incredible ! I WISH I had discovered them years ago. My cat is elderly and has arthritis so it's too painful for her to crouch in the litter box. As a result, she pees straight out where it lands on the floor and the wall (along with the litter flying). With this product, everything stays within the litter box and there is no urine or litter exiting the litter box. It's amazing. Also, the shields are SO easy to insert, clean and re-use!! Honestly, this is the best find I've discovered in years !! Thank you...

Worthless
I liked the idea of this product - adding walls to a regular litter box seemed like a practical solution. There were no instructions, but it seemed straightforward enough. I got them stuck place, thought I was all set... but by the next day, one was coming off. They were all totally unstuck by the end of the week, and because the sticky parts immediately became coated in litter, there really wasn't any chance of salvaging them. A high sided litter box costs barely more than these do, so I'm going that direction now. Hopefully it will be more successful. I was really disappointed in these!

These are Fantastic! Buy em'
I recently bought us a nice entertqinment stand from Amazon that houses our cat's litter boxes and keeps the dogs away from it. However, our orange kitty is a "vertical pee-er", not spraying (totally different) and was peeing out of his litter box and onto the wood and all over the floors. Typical orange cat behavior lol. But then I found these and they are wonderful! I don't know why this isn't a 4.5 or 5 star rating. The product does exactly what it says it does and it took me maybe 2 minutes to apply them to our boxes. We are also using them with stainless steel boxes (idk if the material of the box matters for extra stickiness). I've taken a lot of pictures to help others who are indecisive. I didn't have to cut them either. They fit perfectly but it is absolutely possible to cut these if need be. (:

Works well
We purchased this for 1 of our cats that refuses to squat while peeing so got this. on the letter box. Shields great. The only problem is removing it to clean. These have adhesive on them and not sure how this will effect it once I take them off to clean.

Small but OK so far.
A little small in length considering the length of most standard litter boxes but overall it's helped reduce litter spread outside the immediate box area and any possible urine from my cat who sometimes pees more standing up.

These have saved my sanity!
Even high-sided litter trays didn't stop my male cat from peeing over the top of them. These just stick on to the inside of the (high-sided) tray and the laundry floor is finally clean. You do need to use a couple of bulldog clips or similar to link the sheets together and ensure there are no gaps, but they WORK, thank goodness... I wish I'd done it years ago!Getting another set for the shed.
