Expensive, but I like it
I bought 2 of the shrimp ecosystems on amazon, and I definitely like this one better. It's a bit larger and just looks a lot nicer. One problem is with the magnet cleaner. If it falls all the way to the bottom you can't easily pick it up again because the bottom of the bottle is too thick. Also the price is much higher than the other option. I like the look a lot better of this shrimp ecosystem, but I'm not sure what warrants the high price. I give this 5 stars based on everything except the price, but if I were to consider the price too then I would probably give it 4 stars. Buy if you want the best looking shrimp ecosystem and don't mind spending extra.

Shrimp died quickly
Shrimp died after 3 months. I sent an email to the company and unfortunately I received no response. The last one I bought a few years ago is still alive. I replacement would be great since it was a gift and she did love the idea.

They're slacking
This is the 2nd one I bought. This one came chipped,no shell and no magnet. I got 2 shrimp vs.4 I received in my last purchase

Perfect desk companion
Seller worked with me to make sure the shrimp would arrive safely after I accidentally ordered a bit too early in the season. They appear to be settling in well, and they arrived with a little warming pack and a small instructional booklet. Very happy to have these little critters on my desk. They're quite active and their coloration brightened up after a few days.

They say they live up to 15-20 years…
But unfortunately this is what it looks like after not even one year. All shrimps are dead and it looks like there is no way to put new ones into that murky algae water😢.

fantastic purchase from a great seller
There are no words to describe how gracious the seller was to me! I made a mistake on the purchase and the seller went above and beyond to take care of the issue. This is on top of the fact that the ecosystem was so creative, cool, and fun to look at. It was worth every penny. A great purchase from an even better seller!
