I bought this to patch a section of a doorway that my cats had scratched off, and I love that there were so many different color options to choose from to match my carpet. It also comes with the padding already attached, so no need to worry about that!

Not sure if I got a bad box, but the first three squares I pulled out were poorly packaged. i.e the cellophane backing that was to protect the adhesive side was crumpled up and didnt cover the adhesive side well. The parts of the adhesive that were covered were not nearly sticky enough to adhere to a subfloor. I didnt bother checking the rest. I'd rather not have to fight the raw material on a big job.

The media could not be loaded.  Easy to install, very good adhesion and the color was just right. 18" x 18" tiles.

It is impossible to get an accurate read on the colors to match your carpets. I had to go in store and ask a customer service rep for help. Thankfully I got free samples. I brought my thread bare pieces in to match color and to see if the other colors would be nicer they gave me samples to take home and think on before ordering a full carpet. I only needed a square. Go to your shops and talk to reps get a great color match then maybe search online for cheaper prices if you want more than just sample sizes.

We looked at a number of samples of carpet tiles for our basement. This by far was the best quality (firm, decent carpet, good pad) others seemed really cheap. I was disappointed during installation to see the size (18 x 18) did vary a bit tile to tile. Some by as much as a quarter inch. I found myself sorting piles of tiles (narrow and wider) so I could keep a straight edge during installation.Installation is not quick, but I expected that. Depending on how picky you are, it will take some time. Overall finished product does look really good. I purchased a seaming roller from amazon (spikey hand roller thing) that helped blend the fibers at all the joints. With the finished product installed, you really cannot see the joints.

Bought these for my basement. Best investment I ever did. The memory foam is the clincher because you dont need additional padding. Great buy great value.

I thought people might just be installing the squares incorrectly, not lining them up properly causing the to seem irregular in size. Nope! These things are not the same size. After we did about half of one room I, in frustration, opened a brand new box. I laid it on its side with the tiles still inside to see how much of a difference in size the tiles were. My frustration was validated because none of the tiles had the same width. To add to my frustration some of the tiles were not sticky on the edges. Save yourself some headache and cut all tiles to the correct 18 x18 before installing or just get some cheap carpet put in. This stuff is sparse.

The tiles were easy to cut with a sharp box cutter, easy to lay.
